Peppers Blue on Blue Magnetic Island needs a refurbishment. Our room needed a lot of maintenance. The ensuite shower leaked through the ensuite, the roller blind unwinds itself to the floor (we had to dodgy it up), and quite a bit of dodgy patch work using black silicone was quite visible in the showers and toilets. The kitchen knives provided were all very blunt and struggled to cut even a potato, so bring your own. Some staff were not as friendly as they have been in the past. There seems to be alot of transient workers (overseas travellers/short term workers). However, the location is great with easy access to buses, supermarket, the ferry and hire car venue.

Great location, pool and size apartment. Terrible quality for the very high price we paid for unit 14. Here are some examples of why it was substandard: - Large rip holes in the sliding door fly screen. - Only 5 dining chairs. Where was the 6th? - Main aircon heavily leaking water on the lounge room floor when turned on. - Ensuite bathroom exhaust fan broken. - Ensuite cupboard super dusty where you put your folded clothes. - Main bathroom shower head water only trickling out. - Main bathroom toilet flushing button broken. - Couch has dirt stains all over it.
