Property was lovely- staff seemed disorganized. Many missteps. Towels, water not replenished in room. Several times incorrect food was brought at breakfast.

Staff were wonderful and the grounds are very nice, but our room was horrible. It used to be a great place to stay, but there is zero decor on the walls, our bathroom door wouldn’t even close, and the couch in our room reminded us of something from IKEA. For over $600 a night, we expected to at least have some type of view, but nothing and the windows had film on them so you couldn’t see out. It’s like being in a motel!

My stay at The Colony Palms had some highlights aesthetically, but overall the service and experience did not live up to expectations...especially given the price point.
At check-in, the staff wasn’t very informative about the amenities or property layout. We were offered a welcome drink, which was a nice touch in theory, but the glasses weren’t clean, so we didn’t actually get to enjoy it until later in the evening.
The biggest disappointment was the pool service. It consistently took about 25 minutes to get drinks from the bar, and there was no staff bringing orders to guests. This happened multiple times. On top of that, there were no chairs available for me and my boyfriend either morning because they were all claimed by around 8 a.m., which made it difficult to enjoy the main amenity we were looking forward to. Pool towels ran out by 12 when we got to the pool, so we didn't get towel right away either. There wasnt even a lot of people in the pool area for it to seem overwhelming for the staff.
Food quality was also underwhelming. While staff were passing out popsicles poolside, they only made it to about a quarter of the guests, which felt inconsistent and poorly managed.
Overall, the property itself is beautiful, but for the price, the service fell short. Between the slow pool service, lack of seating, and uneven hospitality, the experience felt overpriced and not worth the cost. I wouldn’t return unless there were major improvements to service and guest experience.

The Staff across the board were excellent.
Our Room was great in everyway, but there was an Event Planner (maybe Chinese New Year)working next door everyday including Sunday and we had Office noise and Interviews heard through the joining Suite Door. Nights after 6:00 p.m. were okay but this morning they woke us up with conversations at 7:00 a.m.. I knocked on the door and asked if they could please be quiet and they did try to be quiet after that but the damage had been done. At over $1100 per night, it is overpriced. Alaska Air has a flight path with a steady stream of planes right by the Hotel, sometimes five planes within 30 minutes or less. It is a noisy place and we will not stay there again.

Hard to find; road closed signs on road to location. No mention when called for directions. Un-requested upgrade to more expensive room. BUT we preferred original reservation and did not like decor or patio of upgraded room. Staff outstanding. Food very good.

Check in staff not very hospitable. Checked in at 7:30pm. Hotel Needs some serious updating. Hotel is very old. Rooms are musty and not aesthetically pleasing. Still using shower curtains that don’t work and spills water all over floor. Phone didn’t work in room. When maintenance came by I was ready to hop in shower and ask them to come back in 10min to fix phone but they never returned. Had to go down to restaurant to order room service since phone wasn’t working. Room service was in a paper bag and to go boxes, no plate or table was it served in. Restaurant/room service closed at 9 pm. Next morning housekeeping knocking at door around 10:00’to let us know check out is at 11:00. Did not feel welcomed at the hotel. Only positive is it’s a good location if you’re planning to go to the BNP tennis tournament. Close by. Complimentary shuttle would be nice. Won’t stay there again.
