It was our first time to Hobart, and we decided to stay at Salamanca Terraces due to its location being close to the wharf precinct and free parking facility. We had a studio apartment. The room size was standard - it was clean and comfortable. The bathroom is on a small size - the shower is VERY small in comparison to other places we have stayed at. It'd be challenging for some people, we'd imagine. Location is great - close to lots of restaurants, the wharf and supermarket. Important to note for anyone with mobility issues that the entrance to the property is located on Runnymede St which is on a slight incline, so there is a bit of an incline to walk to Salamanca Terraces from Salamanca Place. We were on the ground floor and found it to be pretty quiet. Surrounding areas are beautiful and we had a great time exploring it. Free parking was definitely a big plus!

Charming retreat close to everything. We had a great short stay here and would definitely come again. The room was very comfortable (especially the heated tiles in the ensuite) and the whole building itself and the grounds were beautiful. Lovely breakfast including their in-house apricot jam.

Good quality accommodation at a reasonable price. Dont' go past it.

Great property very unique, clean and tidy

From the awesome staff at check in to my pot of tea before going to the airport, and the 2 room Victorian Suite in between Hadleys was a delight. Like stepping back into the roaring twenties I loved my 2 day stay. And so convenient for Salamanca and Hobart CBD.

Great location, well appointed, clean comfortable and great price

The lodgings, food and service was fantastic! I felt like I was in a Jane Austin film and loved every second. The room was updated, comfortable and very cozy for the winter. The food at the resturant was the best meal we had in Tassie and would come back again just for that. Staff were friendly and overall a 5 star experience.
