We got there in the middle of winter so it was very cold, and the weather was terrible. However, when the sun came out it improved. The fire heaters are a bit inadequate for heating in the dead o winter but should be suitable for the rest of the year.
Otherwise, it was clean and reasonably well equipped. Plenty of hot water for showers and cooking.

Although it is situated on a main road it was not affected by traffic noise and being so close to the town centre it was very handy for walking around the town visiting local cafes and museums and parks etc.
