Asian Pacific Thematic Historic District Cheap Holidays

We have been coming to this resort for four years straight, and it has always been one of our favorite places with consistently great experiences. This time, we decided to treat ourselves and upgrade to a nicer room, but unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. When we arrived, I was told that our room was still not available. I was also told they would call me once the room was ready. I went back to check and a woman told me I might have to wait until 5:30pm check in is at 4 PM. My husband went back to the front desk immediately after and a gentleman immediately gave him the room key. I never received the promised phone call. I was also given a pool card so that we could wait at the bar, but the card did not work, which made the situation even more frustrating luckily the bartender which was amazing open the door for us. The best part for us were the people at the Vessel restaurant and pool bars. Another disappointment was seeing food left on top of the trash/recycling area outside overnight. It was not picked up until the following morning. For such a beautiful resort and such a special gem, these details were really disappointing. We have always loved coming here, which is why this experience was especially upsetting. Unfortunately, we are now reconsidering whether we will return in the future. I truly hope management addresses these issues because this resort has so much potential, and we would love to continue coming back.

Good quick get away. Its tucked away enough to feel on your own meanwhile close tomoterally everything.

The staff were completely unhelpful (e.g., took 30 mins to get a wine opener, every time I called the front desk it was a long time before someone picked up, no valet there upon arrival, etc.). The drinks at the pool were overpriced and poor quality. Overall, compared to the price point we paid, the service level of the facility was not up to par.

My wife and I got bites from laying in the bed at the hotel. The door was hard to close to our room, had to slam it shut everytime we left our room. The staff was great though!
