We booked this hotel very last minute after changing our plans due to poor weather elsewhere. The hotel was really good value and our room was located perfectly, just steps away from the pool (partial ocean view room). The staff were really friendly, drinks and food were great value and the rooms well proportioned.
We did find the food service to be quite slow, but the food was great.
Everything is very easy to access via Grab, without this the hotel would be quite isolated.
Overall the hotel was very relaxing, with a beautiful pool.

Very disappointing for a Sheraton
This hotel feels strangely untouched since the day it was built. The rooms do not seem to have been properly renovated for decades — the furniture, bathroom, shower, and overall interior are all very old and worn out. Over the years, everything has clearly become tired and dated.
The bedding and pillows had an unpleasant smell, which made the stay even less comfortable. The beach was also extremely dirty and was one of the biggest disappointments.
When I booked the hotel, I specifically chose a rate that included a “Free Airport Shuttle.” Only after arriving did I find out that the transfer was free in one direction only. This was not clearly stated during the booking process and felt misleading.
The positive side is the staff — they were friendly, polite, and pleasant to deal with.
However, the property itself is absolutely not what I would expect from the Sheraton brand. I think many guests book this hotel because they trust the Sheraton name, and I personally felt misled by that. In terms of the condition of the rooms and facilities, the experience felt closer to an old 2-star motel than a Sheraton resort.
This property urgently needs a major renovation.

Lovely villa with plenty of room for 4 of us. We loved having the pool right outside and being in an exclusive area of around a dozen villas. The location was perfect for us - easy access to the beach and a short walk from shops and restaurants. The breakfast area was lovely and quiet, but the food wasn't great and left out in the open to flies for many hours. Staff were always pleasant and helpful. The amenities and refreshments were only replaced a few times in the accommodation during our stay, rather than every day. Resort was very safe and secure.

Stay at the Oberoi is always amazing. The warm staff, the food, etc. We took the airport pick up from the hotel itself. It was seamless, we were offered a wet towel on our arrival, teh driver was very friendly. Even though guy hr we reached early the staff were kind enough to check us in early. The lunches we had at the Sun bird cafe were really yumm. The masala chai and snacks during tea time were also yumm.
The property has their own jetty so it was really convenient to go diving and snorkelling. Pijaan, the person who took us diving was really very very professional and warm at the same time.
Each night, dinner was special, there was traditional dance one night, Indonesian street food special another, etc etc.
Will definitely come back next year :)
