Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful clean and tidy room. gorgeous country views, fully enjoyed the "special attention" from our hosts. The meals and service were amazing. Chef "Stewart" cooked beyond perfection! The spa pool was very nice and relaxing. We enjoyed the 5 km trail walk around the property. A very calm, relaxing and safe feeling at this lodge. A highly recommend quiet retreat! Thank you for making our stay so memorable.

Problems with Front Gate all week - locked us in twice and Wi-Fi stopped working after 5 days. Views are spectacular but needs some additional attention to detail at this price.

Perfect place for a romantic winter getaway. Stunning grounds, great room with lovely views, the lodge was cozy and the food was great - the breakfast in particular was amazing. Dinner was expensive but it didn’t disappoint and convenient onsite. No TV in the room but no need with the cozy fireplace. Bed was comfortable with nice linen. Mini fridge, good tea and coffee making facilities. Spa bath wasn’t working unfortunately but enjoyed the sauna. Would 100% recommend this place for a couple. Would also be a great place for a small conference, executive meeting or retreat.

We had a fantastic day. The apartment is located just a short walk from Waiake Beach - in fact, you can go out the back gate, stroll past the sailing club and you’re right there. The apartment itself is presented with modern decor and has everything you need for your stay, right down to the complementary tea, coffee, Milo and cookies. Lovely outlook over the reserve, huge bed in the master bedroom, spa bath in the bathroom, great communication from our hosts… really hard to fault anything about our experience. Thanks so much, and we hope to stay with you again some time in the future.

Great stay in this clean apartment which had everything I needed for my stay. Quiet area and good parking.

Clean room, close to shopping, friendly staff

Lovely stay, we felt like we were staying with friends. We also appreciated the extra frig for guests and the fact that there were so many restaurants within a 5 minute walk.
