"Area was walkable. Room was small, bathroom smaller, only 1 elevator that ran slow, so we used stairs. Was fine for a quick night. But if you want luxury, this is not it. "

"My experience at Aquarius Vacation Club at Dorado del Mar was unacceptable from start to finish. When I arrived to check into my room, I found the door cracked open. I immediately went downstairs to notify the front desk because I was genuinely afraid to walk in. They sent a security guard to “check” the room and then told me it was fine to enter, but that was only the beginning of the problems. Once inside, it was obvious the room was extremely old and poorly maintained. The bathroom had an old, dingy shower curtain, the tub was wet, and there were no basic toiletries—no soap, no shampoo, nothing. On top of that, there was no hot water. The floor was covered with random pieces of carpet, and it was filthy—dust, paper scraps, and debris everywhere, as if it hadn’t been vacuumed in a long time. The chairs were stained, and the wooden furniture was chipped and worn down. To make matters worse, when Expedia tried to contact the hotel to help me get a refund, the staff refused to answer the phone. I had to physically go downstairs and stand there until they finally picked up the call. Even after all of this, I still have not received a refund. For a hotel that markets itself as a vacation club, this was incredibly disappointing. The lack of cleanliness, outdated rooms, and unprofessional customer service made this stay far below acceptable standards. I would not recommend this property to anyone."

"Rooms are ok. The bathrooms have no fan. The console for the tv was about a foot away from the wall. The music at night is very loud and can be heard from the room. Staff are friendly but little info was given at check in. Breakfast is good but it’s the same food everyday. Outdoor pool area is ok. The loungers could use a clean. Bird poop and spilled food all over them. It would be nice to have more food options for kids. "

"Great little gem in Dorado. Rooms are well appointed. Pool is fantastic. Gym has everything you need. Onsite restaurant has tasty food "
