Hotel, beach, pools, and restaurants all good - airport is close but you don’t hear jets - just the crashing waves. The area is run down and the town has to give it a major facelift. Go to the nicer El Coronado area a few miles away unless you stay at the hotel the whole time.

We have stayed at the resort many times over the years and always have a wonderful time. The facility is lovely, and the staff is always pleasant and accommodating. For some reason, however, we had to track down toilet paper, as though it was being rationed! And final note, I realize the spa is no longer owned by the hotel but their “ we don’t do butts“ massage policy is laughable.
