We absolutely loved our stay at the Grand Cave. The location was excellent, right above Family mart, a short walk to the train station and lots of food options. We even enjoyed the karaoke on the corner just down the street!

Good stay. Host very responsive.

We stayed just one night here. The location is terrific. It was night to be able to leave our luggage in the locker area. We were tentative because the hotel is unmanned, but staff were very responsive when we emailed.

Nice and cosy, the only thing about this place is that there is no lift, so those with big luggage might have an issue. Family mart is just below. Near to shopping area and Chinatown.

I liked the location. It was very convenient. The train station was nearby. Food outlets were convenient. Chinatown was amazing. I found the staircase steep. The inconvenience for us was the lack of an elevator. We had heavy luggage and found it hard to bring it up the stairs.

Not sure why info says it sleep 7 but hotel only allows 4 (only 4 single beds, no sofa bed). Confusing which room you get but we booked for 12 family and stayed at room B, D, E. Room D is spacious, room B, I like the set up and spacious enough, Room E had no space at all specially if you have luggages. Overall, we liked our stay. Reviews stated it was unmanned hotel but there is security code to get in lobby and to get in our room. There’s a Family Mart right below us which is very convenient. Yotsugi station is a 3 min walk. Chinatown is close by and there’s a ton of stores/restaurants everywhere.

This was an unusual place to stay: a very small room with four bunk beds and a tiny bath and kitchenette, up a flight of stairs from the street, with no on-site staff and a complicated check-in system. It was very difficult to find places to put our separate pieces of luggage and difficult to move around each other or to sit anywhere other than on the beds. Using the bathroom, changing and repacking were a bit of a ballet. The main advantage was being across from a train station, with close proximity to Yokohama's Chinatown and Yamate shopping/dining area.

Small but cozy

Place was small but just what we needed for our stay since we were only there to sleep anyway. Would recommend it for other travelers with 4 people or less.

Place is unmanned but checkin was easy using tablet provided. Place is small but this is Japan, great for couples, and family with small kids. I would suggest getting extra room for families with older kids. Facility is super clean, very well maintained. Walking distance to plenty of shopping, restaurants, mini marts, etc. high speed internet works great, and communal washer is a plus.

Fantastic condition and security. Had a surprising number of amenities. Very, very small for family of 4. Required two people stay in bed so that the other 2 had room to maneuver. However, location, price and ability to fit 4 people at all made it a winner.

マットレスは快適で、清潔なお部屋でした。一階がコンビニで駅も近く便利でした。 ただ、一階からホテル（2階）までは階段のみなので、母のような足が悪いお年寄りには不向きだと思います。

Passage éclair, un peu petit comme espace je pense pour 4 personnes, c'est un dortoir disont. À la base nous avions réservé pour 5 personnes, mais seulement 4 lits, heureusement que la 5 eme personne était un enfant de 4 ans qui pouvait dormir avec un de ses parents... Trop petit à notre goût pour 4.

通り沿いの為、飲み終わりの人の声が夜でも聞こえるのが気になった。大人だけであれば、歩いてすぐに中華街や飲食店が近いので良いと思う。施設が狭い。値段なりかもしれないが、スーツケースを広げるのに一苦労。

綺麗なお部屋です。

家族4人で宿泊。チェックインは全て自分達で行い、スタッフの方とはリモートで話す程度でした。入り口は急な階段のため、お子様連れは少し大変かも。また、商店街の一角にあるため、夜遅くても、外の声が聞こえてきます。 部屋は2段ベットというよりかは、ロフトみたいな感じです。 大人4人だと少し窮屈に感じました。
