"The location of the property is excellent with 3 subway lines just at footsteps of the hotel. The pedestrian overpass nearby can get you across busy highway with ease. Restaurants are abundant around the hotel with the Jingan Temple Shopping Plaza and streets well populated with all sorts of restaurants and shops for you to enjoy. I particularly liked the Atrium cafe at Kunlun for breakfast and for meeting friends for afternoon coffee."

"I recently completed a five-night stay at the JW Marriott Hotel Shanghai at Tomorrow Square. The hotel’s greatest strength is its excellent location in the heart of Shanghai, just minutes from many of the city’s most iconic attractions, shopping districts, and cultural landmarks. The sweeping skyline views from the guest rooms are truly impressive and among the property’s highlights. Breakfast was consistently prompt each morning, with a thoughtful and well-balanced selection of local and international options. Unfortunately, several aspects of the stay fell short of expectations. Housekeeping was inconsistent, as trash was never removed from my room during my stay. The pillows were of poor quality and flattened almost immediately, making sleep less comfortable. The bathtub drain plug was also defective, causing drainage issues. I was disappointed by some staff interactions. As a Mandarin speaker, I overheard conversations that were unprofessional when staff assumed I could not understand them. Outside the hotel, smoking taxi drivers gathered near the entrance, detracting from the otherwise upscale atmosphere. The room was also consistently warmer than expected. Despite having an individual thermostat, the air conditioning appeared to be centrally controlled and was unable to adequately cool the room. I ultimately purchased a small fan to remain comfortable at night. Overall, the hotel offers a comfortable stay, but definitely not up to the Marriott standard I know."

"We stayed in the hotel for four nights. The hotel is well maintained and our room is spotless and the mattress is good. The size of the TV well exceeded our expectation. The water pressure of the shower was low but okay. The breakfast was very good especially the salad bar and fruit, and Chinese food. The bakery is on the low side and worse than those offered a couple of years back when we stayed in the same hotel. Coffee (espresso, latte,…) were very good and the staff were very tentative to clean tables and reload milk to coffee machines. Once you are done with your breakfast, you can take a cup of coffee/latte/… with you. Thank the hotel for this warm gesture. The location of the hotel is clearly the best with a metro station just some 2-3 hundreds away. Overall very happy with the stay."
