Xcacel Beach Tours and Activities

To me the rooms need a little TLC , cleanliness could be much better. The hotel premises are good. If you really want an all inclusive and take advantage of all the hotel has to offer book for the pyramid oasis, grand oasis Cancun does not get access to everything. Overall we had a good experience.

From the moment I arrived, things got off to a bad start. Check-in took about 30 minutes, and the front desk agent was not friendly or welcoming. They also failed to explain anything about the resort, such as the amenities, restaurants, activities, or how everything worked, which made the arrival experience even more frustrating. The room was another major disappointment. It honestly looked like I had been placed in a room that wasn’t ready for guests. It was extremely outdated, the refrigerator didn’t work, there was an ironing board but no iron, and there wasn’t even a TV remote. I’ve stayed at many hotels and resorts, and I’ve never experienced so many basic essentials missing from a room. I went back to the front desk to request a different room, but instead of trying to accommodate me, they immediately tried to upsell me to a more expensive room. That was very frustrating, especially since I was only asking for a room with everything functioning properly. The resort itself was also underwhelming. There weren’t many activities, and the atmosphere felt quiet and boring compared to other all-inclusive resorts I’ve visited. The biggest disappointment was the food. Normally, the specialty restaurants at an all-inclusive resort are much better than the buffet. Here, it was the complete opposite. The buffet was actually better. The only highlights of my stay were the location and the beach. The beach is absolutely beautiful, and the hotel is in a great area.

I have said at a few different RIU's in Cabo and Cancun. I hate to say this was not one of the better ones. Very old, the rooms were old. The elevator was terrible. Always waiting sometimes over 10 minute wait Took the stairs one tiime along with several other quest. Location going down the beach was rocky had no place to sit near the water. The ocean was after all the huge rocks. Other resorts down the beach were beautiful and clean. The Riu in Cabo was so much better.
