"For the price we paid, it represented good value, and the staff were particularly friendly and welcoming. That said, the room was quite small by Australian standards, which made it feel a little cramped during our stay. As others have mentioned in their reviews, the pool area is also not especially appealing in appearance, which was a slight disappointment. Overall though, the stay was comfortable and the service from the staff was a real positive."

"When we opened the door we were greeted by a very strong chemical smell. The room looked ok but the shower had significant black mould. We opened windows and put the bathroom fan on before heading out again. Later when we came back the smell was not as strong but still noticeable. We asked to look at another room but it was just the same - strong chemical smell and black mould in the shower. The manager offered to spray it with bleach but that would have increased the smell. With the windows open and air con on it was bearable. The mould was a concern though and put us off using the pool. We also had a cockroach crawl out of the bed, so overall not a good experience. Disappointing because reviews we read beforehand were positive."

"It was ok, room door faced a service station opposite which felt a little exposed, bed was comfortable, bedding clean but the bathroom was so run down and in need of a refresh that I didn’t want to use the shower as the base looked grotty. Don’t believe the pictures online!"

"Room was okay, bed comfortable and room reasonably quiet however there was long black hairs on the tiles in the bathroom, dried snot next to the sink, TV didn’t operate on normal TV stations, both lights next to beds didn’t work and amenities such as lotion hadn’t been refilled. "

"What a beautiful part of the world! Great amenities and happy staff. Incredible views of the Hume. We booked a standard cabin, but to our surprise we were upgraded to a deluxe. We will be back. "
