"Having rented many VRBO properties over many years, I have to say this cabin and property are one of, if not the best, as well as unique places, my wife and I have ever stayed! The cabin itself is also amazingly clean for a rental property, and the craftsman ship of the exterior area to blend into the surrounding area is without a doubt unapparelled! Then there is the falls, or actually two main falls and a cascading drainage below. We were very fortunate to have rain occur the first night and part of the next day bringing the main waterfall up and causing an "overshot" to the pool below that was mesmerizing! It was very hard to leave and explore the area as it was just so unique there! I will say that we made it to "Alum cove natural bridge recreation area", which was also an unbelievable geological area! If you go there be sure to hike the one-to-one-and-a-half-mile hike which takes you past the main natural arch to an area that is punctuated with smaller arches and overhangs in a bluff ridge along the trail! While we saw several other family's while we were there walking to the Arch, no one hiked the entire trail....and I promise, you won't be disappointed. We definitely hope to return in the spring to stay again! Once again, thanks Doug and Amanda for having this unique and interesting property available to enjoy!"

"Beautiful secluded location, fully stocked with the basics, communication was great through the whole process, the caretaker was out on a weekend within 20 minutes for a water issue due to a running toilet, had us fixed up and ready to go quickly so everyone could shower to get to our wedding! So much open space, beautiful scenery and trail was great even with the bear grunting down the hill while we were up at the top of the trail! Was so cool to experience! I hope we can come back again in the future!"

"We arrived on a rainy wednesday, in a small suv. I somehow missed the memo that this location is way off the beaten path. We arrived to an unpaved road where we proceeded to go up and up. After about 25. Minutes up, tires sliding in gravel , no cell or gps signal we were about to give up, turn around and call it a loss. Then God sent the man in the red truck! He gave us confidence to proceed and moments later we arrived at the most beautiful breathtaking cabin! The host poured her heart into this place! It has everything you need, beautiful views! We are already planning our next (more prepared) mountain trip! 10/10!!!"

"Great little cabin! Stocked with the essentials. Pretty creek in front and super quiet area. Check in was easy. It is pretty remote but directions were easy to follow. Would LOVE to stay again!"
