"This was an amazing place! Wind was to bad for fire pit but that didn't stop the enjoyment. We saw a deer and turkey in the back yard. It's also stocked better than any place I've been. "One of the great views I have ever seen from both back decks and the backyard firepit! We watched the sunrise with our coffee on the deck each morning. We built a fire one evening and just marveled at the view. This house was perfect for us, but understand that it is really out in the middle of nowhere. It's 10 miles to the small town of Jasper and a couple of restaurant options. If you are ok with that level of solitude (and we were), you can't ask for anything better!"

"Everything was great. Rooms were clean, beds were comfy, pool was nice, & breakfast was delicious. My only complaint was the smell in the Hallways. The room didn’t have the smell, but when you stepped into the hallway, it smelt like a veterinarian clinics waiting room. Other than that my stay was great! "

" We had a great time at the Hoot Owl Cabin. The cabin was clean and well stocked. We had WiFi, TV, jetted tub and other nice things. Also with access to the Mulberry River. All in all a good experience. Our host was there when we had questions. Fine trip!!"
