Lazy Bear Cottage with Beautiful view and Fiber Internet!

Maybe not Heaven, but as close as it gets! A beautiful 2 bedroom cottage nestled in the heights of the Ozark Mountains. Very close, if not right in the middle of many trails, 4 wheeling and beautiful destinations, including 5 wineries with-in 30 miles. The cabin is wood throughout, ceramic flooring, island bar, nice front deck with a fire pit and a gorgeous view. If you are site seeing, hiking, 4-wheeling, or just need a nice peaceful and beautiful get away, this is the place!
The cottage is located on 40 acres, with National Forest on two sides. You can explore the property on site, access National forest on site, or take a short drive to many beautiful locations. The Historic Oark Cafe, the Burger Barn, Catalpa Cafe, Haw Creek Falls, The Glory Hole, the scenic Pig Trail, Byrds adventure center, Mount Magazine, Petite Jean Mountain, Mount Nebo, Mulberry River, High Bank Twin Falls, Ozark Highland Trails, Hawksbill Crag, Natural Bridge, and many other popular destinations are just a short drive away.
We live on the property so anything you may need, we will do our best to accommodate.
The cottage if fully stocked with anything you need to prepare meals. Pots, pans, utensils, crockpot, electric skillet, oven, stove top, microwave, array of seasonings and spices, coffee pot with coffee, refrigerator, etc.. There is also a gas grill on the deck. Sit around the island bar and have a nice meal, a drink, or a game of cards.
Just a beautiful place to hang out and relax, enjoy nature, get some peace and quiet, hike some trails, or go on an ATV ride. You will truly love this little slice of paradise!!

Lovely & peaceful stay

We enjoyed our weekend here and would come back! Everything was lovely and the property is so peaceful. We went hiking on the Ozark Highlands Trail and enjoyed a delicious cheeseburger and pie at Oark Cafe!

The Lazy Bear Cottage was such an amazing place to go and unwind from life’s daily routines. We were able to complete a 2000 piece puzzle of bears near a cabin. Thought it was very fitting. The atmosphere was just like it was described, very peaceful and very relaxing. This was the first time going to an Air B&B I was very pleased with the view of the mountains and the goats…lol. Patrick and Marina were awesome and very friendly. They made our stay very enjoyable.

Ozone secluded Cabin

Very nice cabin with all you need for your stay. Owner was very helpful with any issues we had. The deck was a nice place to relax after a day of trail riding.

Quiet cabin stay

My husband, adult son and I loved the peaceful cabin. Sitting on the porch in the morning and evening, and listening to the birds and stream were lovely. The neighbor's dog Ruby and the goats wandering made us laugh. The cabin was cozy, and the hosts very responsive. A truly magical place

Great Cabin and Location

Perfect location to explore the National Forest. We traveled several segments of the OOAT (Ozark Overland Adventure Trail) and saw waterfalls, fantastic views of the river valley below, and wildlife.

Vacation with Family

The cabin was very nice and comfortable, just as described. All instructions for check in and out were clear with no questions on what to do. Very quiet and relaxing. Located in a great spot to be within easy driving distance of different waterfalls and hiking trails. Also a short easy 30 minute drive from town if you need supplies. Great place to stay!

Simply amazing!

Beautiful property situated in the Ozark NF convenient to trails and recreation activities. Cabin was extremely clean and well-furnished leaving nothing to be desired. Area was quiet and serene. The views were fantastic, along with the goats! Highly recommend. Only regret is not being able to stay longer.

Cozy Cabin!

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Lazy Bear Cottage. It was just perfect. The owners were so friendly and quick to respond to questions. They even offered us an early check-in. We LOVED the goats, chickens, and turkeys. The grounds are beautiful. We would definitely stay here again!

We decided to stay in the Ozark national forest for a couple of days on our way to Branson Mo. it was the best part of the whole week location was great and property was amazing. Perfect for four adults and a great location for what we wanted to do! Already planning a return trip.

Amazing vacation

We enjoyed everything about our visit to this cabin. The location is amazing. Beautiful sunsets every night! The hosts are so kind and helpful. We loved getting to pet the goats and turkey! The cabin was VERY clean and had everything we needed! There are lots of options for hiking nearby. Beautiful scenery. I just can’t say enough good things about our visit here. We will definitely be back!

Loved the whole experience. Hung out with the goats and ventured out for some hiking. Really liked the decor and bathroom sink! Hoping to have something similar one day.

Practical luxury in the woods

This cabin is one of the most restful places we have stayed in our 18 years of marriage. The hosts are thoughtful and generous, and the amenities are simple and accessible to use. It was one of the easiest cleanups and checkouts we've ever had too.

Perfect little cabin for a weekend getaway!

My husband and I stayed at the Lazy Bear Cottage for our anniversary weekend! We were welcomed with flowers and champagne. The cabin is so cute and cozy! We love the raised deck complete with Adirondack chairs and fire pit which was a highlight. We also enjoyed the outdoor speakers! Patrick and his wife are the sweetest hosts that we got to know! You’ll have a chance to see their goats who help maintain the property and provide some entertainment!! We will be back soon and plan to bring our kids who will enjoy it as much as we did!
