A sudeley castle cottage that sleeps 8 guests in 4 bedrooms

"We booked Archers cottage for 3 nights to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary with our family. There were 8 of us comprising of myself and husband, daughter and son-in-law and the 2 Children, son and daughter-in-law and the space in the cottage was perfect for that amount of people without being on top of each other. The bedrooms worked out great meaning that 2 couples had the bedrooms with the en-suites and my daughter and her family had the 2 bedrooms which interconnected and had a bathroom in the middle which both bedrooms could access so it let them have their own family suite which was at the opposite end of the upstairs to the other bedrooms so perfect. The lounge was large with 2 big sofas and 2 chairs, big coffee table and a good size tv on the wall, a lovely space to chill out in the evenings. Dinning area with a big table to seat everyone for breakfast which led on to a good size well equipped kitchen. Beautiful garden which the children enjoyed, plenty of room for them to run around and be safe. Patio area with large iron table and chairs which we used a lot as the weather was good. There is a large BBQ but we didn’t use this. We had a great time and we all agreed that we would love to return in the future for another family weekend. The only thing I would suggest is a bigger fridge would be good as we struggled for room with there being 8 of us. Then again maybe the bottles of champagne and Prosecco took up too much room ."

"The Old Laundry was absolutely perfect for our needs. We stayed for our wedding weekend and it was the perfect backdrop - from hosting a gathering the evening prior (enjoying fantastic views, sitting under the awning and using the top notch BBQ), to hair and makeup on the morning of (plenty of light and airy spaces) to debriefing in the green room afterwards. The only minor thing we missed was a second fridge, we struggled to keep everything cool considering the number of people in the accommodation. The Old Laundry was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and any small issues were handled by the maintenance team immediately. I’d highly recommend!!"

"Charming eclectic style meets real history and architecture. This property is whimsical and quirky. The property is welcoming. But what it truly has is historical significance. Once part of Henry the 8th last wife’s property, it’s all that’s left. Catherine Parr’s massive estate is gone now but for small ruins you can see.This property used to be the local town hall. The church across the road, St Andrew’s is quiet now but you can go in and look around. The most interesting thing right there is Toddington Hall. The design was copied to build The Parliament in London. Covered in scaffolding for the last 20 years by a mad artist, Damion Hirst. And you’re right in the thick of it. Centrally located you are near Sudley Hall which you can tour. Catherine Parr is buried there. There’s a train station where you can ride to Broadway, a thriving, old world community. In town, there’s a small modern market with everything you need and the Pheasant Pub. Great food and atmosphere. If you have young children, I might remind that you are surrounded by art and antiques. But, for an older child, no matter. This is the perfect location to tour the Cotswolds."

"Very basic inn room with no amenities. Bring your own toiletries as they do not provide them (soaps, shampoo, etc). Insulation of rooms was mid - you could hear people in the hallways clearly but I does quiet down early. Shower was very poor - no shower curtain provided so bathroom gets soaking wet. It’s a tub shower that has seen better days. Staff did not share vital information about room and building access when we checked in. This caused a lot of frustration and potential safety issues later in the evening. Room was spacious and bed was very comfy."
