"What a great little place. Check in was weird through an automated system, but worked well enough. Its an older property but clean and well maintained. The restaurant at the motel was incredible! Cool, classic car collection in the shared parking lot with neighboring business. To be this close to the Grand Canyon for this price, you can't beat it. Would highly recommend. We checked out before dawn to get to the Grand Canyon for sunrise with now problems. The same automated system as check in, but again no problems."

"Beautiful property and while it doesn’t look like much on the outside it’s amazing on the inside. Lovely dining area with a great gift shop. The rooms are exceptionally nice. You get a lot of bang for your buck. It’s a large property and spread out, if you’re at the end you may want to drive. They give you a map! "

"Giving it a 4-star as I was assigned to a room initially with guests already in it but was addressed right away by the staff. Other than that, it was a very pleasant stay for us. We liked the complimentary breakfast (buffet style) very much! Looking forward to staying again here in the future."

"Everything about this property was amazing. From the cleanliness to the outdoor fire pits to catch up with fellow travelers, they have it all. Gil went out of his way to make us feel welcome. I wish all hotels could follow their example!!"

"Close to train to get to the grand canyon. This hotel had so much charm. Beds were comfortable and clean. This hotel is over 100 years old, it was amazing to be in. Staff were wonderful as well. Definitely recommend. Not all rooms have TVs, but we knew that in advance. "
