Located on a farm that makes you feel like you really are in New Zealand! The outdoor fire brazier was a nice touch, bbq available to use as well Clean quality linens and a comfy bed meant a good night's sleep. Good hot water system for the shower and kitchen too This is the perfect place to feel like you're in a rural location, but...

"Starlight valley was even better then we could imagine. There is not words for its beauty. It was close to lots of great hiking and 20 min to hobbiton. The Host Rachel was the kindest most helpful person and was the savior of our trip after we had some car issues. She was a great example of the kind hearted Kiwi people. "Matata Way appears on google maps but apparently does not exist. There was no signage for Matata anywhere, not even on the building. It was only as we walked down the driveway that we were told we had arrived.The unit itself was good, warm and well stocked. We were very comfortable."
