The whole history of the land and property are documented from 1245 both in book form and on the walls of the entrance porch. Filled with original beams and woodwork, inglenook fireplaces and furnished to compliment the age of the building but with modern day living taken into account. "I booked The Lakehouse Apartment for my wife and myself to stay while we were visiting our daughter around 10 minutes drive away. It turned out to be an excellent choice and the accommodation suited us well. We were particularly impressed by the wonderful view of the lake in the grounds and local wildlife as well as the rural views. The owner lives onsite and was very helpful.
