"The hotel is not necessarily a resort but it is more than a hotel. It is very clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the food is so good. The pool and spa look nice, although, I didn’t make use of either for this stay. There is free covered parking. The views are nice and the room comfortable. It is well worth the reasonable price. I will be back."

"We had an awesome time and loved every second at camp sandy. I rented the property for my brothers bachelor party for 20 people. The property had everything and more. It made it difficult to leave and do other things around Austin! Whether it was hanging in the pool and hot tub, playing a massive game of volleyball or all watching the Jets win around the living room tv. David was an amazing host and even gave a tour of the property to ensure everything worked and we knew how to use it all. He was super responsive during the stay. If i come back to austin with a large group, i will definitely stay at Camp Sandy again."

"Jay was an amazing host. From check in to check out, he was available and reliable. This didn’t feel like a normal rental, this felt as if a close relative gay you the keys to most beautiful house on the lake and honestly felt like home. 10/10 would recommend. It’s private, peaceful, and stunning!!!"

"This Castle on Lake Travis is truly exceptional! We are locals and actually only live 20 minutes aways from this beautiful property, but couldn’t pass up the opportunity to stay here. We had a peaceful visit with gorgeous views of Lake Travis. We will most certainly return for another Stay-cation, to escape in this calming castle retreat."

"The host was very responsive and answered all of our questions. The place is in a great location to the Lake and activities. We were very pleased with our stay and would book it again in a heartbeat!"

"Overall stay was great and we enjoyed the property. My only suggestion is to review your information that's posted for accuracy. The directions and the check out times read differently in different places. Said check out was at 11pm and the address sent us to the gate next door. It was a little confusing trying to find the emails with the right information again. We are in Texas and still summer time hot the bedroom did not cool down at 70 at night so it was very hot us for us. Luckily, we brought our tower fan. I would recommend putting a town fan or different settings for summer vs winter. We will definitely book again during the winter! Other than that everything was amazing. Kitchen definitely had everything we needed during the stay. Property was beautiful and the view was the best part. The host was VERY responsive! We enjoyed spending our anniversary here!
