My only concern was that I was charged incorrectly at checkout and told that it would take 5-7 days to give me my money back, “depending on my bank” which seemed to imply this was my fault. I don’t know why they couldn’t charge me correctly in the first place, it wasn’t a complicated stay with lots of charges. Otherwise, very happy."

"David is a gracious and responsive host! He gave a personal tour of the property upon our arrival which was very helpful. The property is beautifully appointed and VERY WELL EQUIPPED! As a group of 17, we had plenty of dishes, towels, toiletries, etc. The lower level game room was fabulous! We had a few brief showers during our stay so we made good use of that space (with 7 kids-it saved the day!) But, the highlight of our stay was the outdoor space. Pool, hot tub, "treehouse", pickle ball, kayaks, fishing, volleyball, etc. No one was ever without something to do! We had a great night making pizzas in the outdoor pizza oven and spent alot of time in the pavilion which has plenty of fans to keep you cool! I cannot say enough about how wonderful our weekend was at Camp Sandy!"

"This little house was located on "On the Lake Road" in Lake Austin Village. This older home was perfect for a get-away weekend. Inside, the rooms were comfortable, the kitchen well-stocked and the one bathroom was updated. The back porch has a jacuzzi, and the top deck on the dock had perfect views of the Colorado river and sunset every night. The backyard is fenced so kids & pups can play. There is easy access to the water with plenty of things to do including kayaks, paddleboards and other toys to enjoy the waterfront. The dock gives easy access for loading & unloading onto a boat. On this weekend, there were neighbor's boats in the 2 dock slips and thus, not available to store our boat at the dock overnight. We launched our boat off the trailer each day. Luckily, the Quinlan Park public boat ramp was only a few blocks away. Quick note on the driveway... it is tight and there are cars that park along the road in front of the house which made backing a boat trailer into the driveway challenging. Be sure to arrive during the day so you have good light to manage the driveway, if you have a trailer. Lake Austin was a busy place on the weekend, and there were boats up & down the river all day. The water and the lake front properties were absolutely beautiful. All in all, this was a perfect way to end the summer on a boat and at the lake. Thank you, David, you were an awesome host. "
