Super friendly staff and lovely comfortable small hotel with wonderful views.

The room was amazing, with majestic views of Alps, snowy festive scenes and felt like the World had slowed down. Great hosts, attentive and very polite.

What an absolutely fabulous little hotel. It may be rated as 3 star but it felt much better then that to us! The view of the Eiger and Monch from the balcony at the front is nothing short of stunning, but the main thing that sets this hotel apart is the service. On the day we arrived (14th May), the lovely girl on reception (didn't get her name) could not have been more helpful. We were having an early start the next day to Jungfraujoch and asked if we could perhaps have a breakfast tray brought...

We were made to feel very welcome. The hotel is in a central location with easy access to everything. Our room was comfortable and very clean. It’s just getting a little bit tired but everything works.

The location was superb as it was literally a minute walk from the Grindewald station, and it's on the quieter side of the town. Staff were excellent, professional, helpful with advice. The breakfast was superb with a great variety and plenty of comfortable seating. The main issue was the hair found on blankets and in bathtub (photos taken, clearly not mine as I found them on arrival), there was also a red stain on one of the face washers/towels. We stayed four nights here and loved every minute. It is a short walk downhill from the train station, located just off the main street of the town, so it's lovely and quiet. It's close to Migros and Coop as well as restaurants. We were warmly welcomed upon check in, our room was ready early, but we were encouraged to take our time and enjoy our complimentary local wine.
