"We really enjoyed our stay here. It was conveniently located to the train station and main road but was quiet. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The free breakfast was delicious and included a nice variety of hot and cold items and plenty of fruit. Barry’s restaurant and nearby affiliated Basecamp were great dinner spots. Appreciated the gym facilities which are not often found in small hotels. Though less glamorous, the laundry facilities were convenient and allowed us to only pack a carryon for our ten day trip. The rooms were a little warm during the day since, like most hotels in Grindelwald, there was no AC but the fan and ability to open the balcony door made it comfortable at night. Would definitely stay here again."
