"A well maintained older hotel, we enjoyed our brief stay. Our room was comfortable with a fireplace, bed and pillows were comfortable and I liked having a sliding door with small balcony. The breakfast was very basic so we opted to go out for a heartier breakfast, also we needed gluten free options but they did offer hard boiled eggs, bagels and toast, make your own waffles and cereal. Overall I would choose this hotel again."

"Remodeling of room was not professional at best poor workmanship. Hard to imagine how much this first class establishment has been affected with age. Sorry we paid this much for these conditions will never stay here again.😞"

"This hotel has a great location to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. It is a beautiful new building, clean, secured parking garage, decent breakfast, and spacious rooms. Unfortunately we encountered a few problems during our stay which was disappointing given the price for our room. We reserved a 2 queen + sofa bed for our family of four. The beds did not seem like queen size beds, more like doubles. The sofa bed was broken - one section wouldn't lock in place, so there was a valley then the end angled upwards. Blankets and linens for the sofa bed were not in the room. We tried calling the front desk @ 10pm but no one answered the phone. I went down to the lobby, and a sign at the desk said the employee was on a 15 minute break. When he returned, he gave me and another guest (with the same issue) the requested linens. The outlets on the nightstand didn't work for my husband's CPAP machine. Again, disappointing hassles for an expensive night's stay."

"Overall disappointing ; I did not enjoy my stay at this hotel. -Terrible Wi-Fi and terrible internet connection that continuously dropped off. - Shower had so much water pressure but w/ only half of a glass shower door like in Europe, water sprayed alot outside the shower creating a mess to clean up every day. - Daily resort fee of $40 per night but no great amenities other than for golfers. Hot tub was unusable since it was always full of people. - Disliked that they charge extra $20 per night for parking which is not included in Expedia's total resort fee. And there was not enough convenient parking near my building."
