This review describes an ADA unit in hopes to help someone that needs it to make an informed decision. The master bedroom has a queen size bed instead of a king to allow space for a wheelchair to pass. The masterbath has a tub with a bench on one end and there are handrails everywhere. The sink does not have bottom cabinets to allow full access with a wheelchair. The second bathroom also has plenty of handrails and a roll in shower. The kitchen had no bottom cabinets in some areas and the upper cabinets were hung lower than usual. Although the units are small they are very well designed so our family of 5 did not feel cramped. The chairs and sofa in the living room were comfortable and sturdy. Nothing was fancy but it was well thought out and good quality which is what we wanted at the beach with 3 teenagers. Beds were ok but not the most comfortable we’ve slept on. Overall this unit was great, the host was responsive and willing to work with us to solve any problems, and we’ll definetly come back. The unit does not have AC, only heating, which we did not use. It gets very bright early morning I recommend to bring a sleep mask if light is an issue. The resort is very spacious and well maintained, although the place was fully booked we did not feel crowded at the pool or hot tub. The firepit was well attended during sunsets but everyone there was friendly and polite. We were happy with our stay and are looking forward to try one of the regular units.
