Great Escape
Wandilligong is a nice excape, nestled within mountains and rolling hills, with beautiful scenery, tranquil, quite and serene, its a perfect escape for a few nights. Our accommodation was clean, well maintained and enough for a family, or two. Highly recommend this place, as Bright and surrounds are only a few minutes drive. I would suggest having some bikes available for use as that would add to the charm of this rustic looking two-storey building. Thank you Priscilla for your friendly nature and making the booking process too easy.

Lovely house in lovely rural area
The house was lovely in a nice rural location. House had plenty of room with everything you could need. Kitchen was amazingly well equipped. Up a steep driveway but walking the local roads was very pleasant. Relatively short drive to Bright. Excellent location for bike riding, walking and day trips.

Our stay was fantastic. It's such a beautiful quiet property that feels so warm and cosy inside. We booked last minute the night before and check in process was seamless. We are pretty fussy when it comes to accommodation and everything ticked the box. Will definitely be staying again.

Melbourne Cup Getaway to Wandiligong.
We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay at Centenary Heights. A quaint, homely building nestled in against Wandiligong's foothills with a warm, sunny location and easy access to walking tracks, forest roads, rivers, mountains and Bright township. Perfection!

Great for the Family
The property was lovely. Well appointed inside. Very quiet and tranquil. Couldn't hear traffic, just the birds. Great place to relax and just a short drive to Bright. My 4 yr old daughter loved the trampoline, the slide and all the toys upstairs. Something for everyone.

Really comfortable and well appointed house; beautiful country setting only a short drive from Bright. Spent 3 nights here with 4 other adult women. Was a fabulous house and location to explore the area.

Great but need air con upstairs
Beautiful stay and gorgeous house. We were a family and wish a young child sleeping in the upstairs. It was very warm up there and and we really needed air con upstairs. Down stairs was beautifully cool but the top really heated up. Also because it wasn't closed off we really had to keep voices down and tv down until baby fell well asleep. if you have little ones and they are upstairs and noise sensitive, might be something to consider. Other than that it was just such a beautiful stay :) beautiful views from every room! A dream

The prefect break for our family
My hubby and I spent a week in this property with our 2 kids. While we wanted to give the kids a snow experience we didn’t want to be bound to a mountain for the week. The location was a little out of bright but no issue it was actually nice to be forced to relax when in the home. The proximity to several ski / snow mountain areas was great. We day tripped to Hotham, dinner planes and falls creek. While the drive way to the home was steep it was fine for us with our car, we found the home had everything you could need. The beds comfortable, the landing us stairs for the kids was great. We especially loved the fire. We would re visit this property and recommend.

Maintenance required
Lovely house for a holiday in great location. Extremely clean but maintenance is required to a number of crucial aspects of the house. Heating is barely adequate for a cold winter weekend - floor heating is not usable forcing reliance on a single reverse cycle air conditioning unit to heat living, bedrooms and bathrooms, and a wood burner that seems to require a flue clean or better wood supplies. The big issue however was the hot water unit which gave up mid-stay. Agents has been advised of these issues with a suitable response, albeit no compensation after 7 days, but these issues did certainly detract from a nice cold winter weekend away in a lovely area.

Thank-you for your feedback Gary, although I am disappointed that after our discussions that your review has been provided and is unfair and inaccurate towards our home. You contact me about 1 item on your arrival, but these significant issues were all brought up post your stay despite me being available? I have made attempts to contact you re: the issues that you faced, to shed some light on each item. Floor heating is not a feature mentioned or advertised for our property. The Split System is a large unit that keeps the home at a very comfortable temperature and the wood fire has been enjoyed by others, even mentioned below in previous guests feedback - it has been spoken about being such a wonderful feature to provide, especially when providing endless wood to use in it. As for the hot water, the system had not packed up it was a simple flick of a switch due to the gas bottle running out part way through your stay, the new bottle was already hooked up for use, I could have done this in 1 minute for you. I am sorry that this wasn’t able to happen for you. I truly am sorry that your experience was not what you hoped for and I only wish we had been given the opportunity to resolved each of these issues immediately to avoid this upset and provide the highly level of service and product we pride ourselves in.

wonderful stay
We had a great time at this place! It's super clean, with everything we needed already provided, also it's fun to light your own firewood in the fireplace. View is stunning and the stars at night are so beautiful. Only downside is although there is wifi signal, it was not really usable. And no Optus signal. But it's ok , we just saw it as a digital detox holiday!

Awesome property
We had a great stay. The amenities that were in the property were excellent, the bed was extremely comfortable and the property very clean. The only couple of criticisms are a baby gate for the top and bottom of the stairs would be of benefit and even though you're advised about the driveway it really is worse than you think. Even the two four wheel drives in our party had a bit of trouble getting up it. I think if it was a non slip asphalt or similar this would be a huge improvement. Overall we had a great weekend.

Great stay
We loved it, very roomy & clean. Well equiped kitchen, comfortable living area & beds. The kids had a ball - inside & outside. Beautiful, quiet location, and still close to Bright, Wandi Pub around the corner. Close to Apple orchard & maze. We can't wait to get back there for some more kookaburra spotting. The welcome hamper on arrival was appreciated too, delicious.

Tranquil paradise close to Bright & surrounds
Absolutely amazing place less than 10 minutes from Bright and only a 7km cycle from Bright Brewery. The younger kid loved playing around the property with their bikes looking for interesting insects. Older kid and Husband managed to explore the cycle trails while stopping to fish in Oven’s river. The place is clean and child friendly. Lots of toys to keep toddlers entertained. On our first night the oven broke down but Judith fixed it the following day, which really impressed me - was not expecting that at all! Thank you for the prompt responses and the welcome pack! We will certainly be back.

Themeda Cottage was an absolute delight. Our family of 5 was sad to leave. Would highly recommend.
Glorious views, very comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, roaring fire, delicious home made granola and complimentary wine on arrival, bike path to Bright a heartbeat away, fantastic location to explore both Wandilagong and Bright, steep driveway but worth the effort to get there! Loved every minute - was exactly the holiday we needed. Thank you Judith and Jeff!

Perfect family holiday venue in an idyllic high country location
We thoroughly enjoyed our five day stay in this lovely cottage. Very well outfitted in the kitchen to provide meals at home. We loved the cosy fire and well stocked toy box for the children. Relaxing and perfect
My friends and I stayed at Themeda Cottage for the week as our annual reunion/ getaway together. Some of us are from Brisbane, so having these getaways/ reunions are a great way for us to catch up while taking a break from our work. The steep and gravel driveway was difficult for us to access with front wheel cars, so we had to use the neighbour's concrete driveway whenever we went somewhere. Aside from that, the house was lovely and inviting with plenty of space for the six of us. There was plenty to do locally and at nearby towns, though we played board games and solitaire every night haha The highlight of the stay was definitely the super friendly dogs that would greet us every time we were outside! I would consider Themeda again for future trips or to others looking to holiday around the area. Big thanks to Judith and Jeff for letting my friends and I stay at your lovely cottage. Hope you enjoy the puzzle we gifted you!

Beautiful home amongst nature
We stayed 3 nights here and loved it. The house is extremely well equipped with lots of little details that made our stay feel like we were in a second home. We stayed with our 11 month old baby and there was a high chair, portacot and multiple toys available for him. It’s often hard travelling with a little person but it was made so much easier here! Spotlessly clean with beautiful views, we loved relaxing here in the afternoon by the fire, admiring the surrounding mountains. Thanks very much for a lovely stay!

Lovely relaxing place to be
We stayed with our adult son for a few days and had a wonderful time. A beautifully set up and comfortable house, everything we could have wanted or needed.
