"This motel has everything! The best view, the best location, the best amenities. This motel felt like a hotel! I’ve been flying over to wellington many times this year, and have been booking different motels and this is the best one by far! I love that it smells so good, I love how wide the parking space is. It’s near the main road but you the room is soundproof so you can’t hear any noises! If I were to fault it, it’s that it doesn’t have an elevator so you have to take the stairs - but it’s only 1 level up. There’s also no hairdryer and no milk! Other than that it had everything else! Heatpump/AC. Shampoo, Conditioner, Soap, Lotion. Coffee, tea, biscuits. And they refill them every morning when they clean the rooms! Most importantly the wifi is great! My favourite thing about it is it feels like home! Will definitely be back to stay at this place! Im so happy I found this place!"

"Stunning property, stunning views, lovely and cosy in the winter up by the roaring fire. Blissful not being in the hustle and bustle of the city, but not so far away your in the middle of know where. With the shops a short drive way. Very clean and tidy. Maybe could of done with one more pot. The animals are very friendly the kids loved meeting the animals here. Easy communication with host. We aren't quite what you would call an eco friendly family but we have learnt lots of new things that will benefit us as we go home look forward to coming back"

"Perfect for a solo traveler needing seclusion. The property has potential to be beautiful but the main house is a bit of a junkyard. Parking needs to be laid out better and signage would be helpful. Stayed only 1 rainy night but would have loved a day to explore the surrounding bush. Enjoyed the sunken bathtub and the foam mattress was comfortable. The space heater was perfect to warm up the room. Personally I think the cost was a bit high in comparison to nicer places."
