"Merel was a wonderful host and the modernized room in a very old building had great ambiance. From the terry robes and slippers and the the fully stocked fridge, to the windows that open and the location, it was perfect for a 4 day visit. You can literally walk everywhere from the location, museums, dam square, red light district, ice bar, canal rides and fantastic shopping. Highly recommend!"

"Park Plaza Vondelpark is a lovely boutique hotel in an upscale neighborhood. It is two blocks away from the spacious Vondelpark, one of the largest in the city. It's also two blocks from the nearest tram stop that leads directly past the major museums and ends at the Centrum, the heart of the city. Everyone on the staff, from the desk clerk to the maintenance person to the restaurant wait staff, were very polite and professional. Both the buffet breakfast and the dinner items were delicious....

"Wow. We had an overnight in Amsterdam and thought we’d stay in the canal area. So glad we did. What a gorgeous hotel. Perfectly quirky, full of art in every space with a restaurant and bar, and several reading rooms. Our room was comfortable and well-designed for a small space. Bathroom was large though and included towel heaters. I’d recommend and stay here again. It’s truly lovely. "

"Just unreal. The staff went above and beyond to make our trip special. They were so kind, accommodating and knowledgable. The hotel is pristine. Not only are the interiors beautiful but the beds are ridiculously comfortable. Location wise you are in the heart of things so nothing is too far to cycle or walk. Plus the tram is right there should you want to whizz about on that. 10/10. We couldn’t thank the Rosewood enough for a birthday stay we won’t forget. "
