"Unfortunately not reflective of the brand I was learning to trust and enjoy. The staff have never smiled so it seems. The checkin was painless but again was not the welcome we expected considering how much we paid. The property seems fresh, but the rooms have poor amenities. Basic at best. We switched rooms twice and accepted the third one. The air conditioning was not working in two rooms and the front desk made it seem like an upgrade to the one with ac. Though it sounded like a plane was mid air it was so noisy. They did not do housekeeping daily. In fact, we had to request it after the second night. The linens were good, but the “fresh” towels smelled like they have been washed without detergent. The location is not central to anything without a cab ride of at least 10 mins which starts to add up. I am sure better is out there!"

"Positives - room and food were good. Lovely, helpful porter. However, check in very slow - we arrived @ 2pm - told to come back @ 3pm, by which time there was a long queue! Restaurant service very slow on evening that we were heading out to a concert. Biggest issue was dangerous shower over bath - exit via sloping end around fixed shower panel, with grab rail at other end! My husband slipped resulting in large bruise. Despite this, hotel were unable to provide non-slip mat."
