"The house is located rural, next to a unpaved road en a small stream. It is not luxury but wel equipped and comfortable. It offer a lot value for money. Due to the trees it is relatively cool on hot summer days. In Lormes , which has a nice atmosphere, there are supermarket, several good shops for food and some cafe’s. The surrounding is suited for some shorter day trips and for walking. For cooling down on hot days there is a small lake at a 15 minutes walk from the house"

"The on-site manager clearly goes all out to make this location perfect. It is spacious, modern and clean. The kitchen is well appointed and the laundry room is a big plus. A few minutes from Vezelay by car, the area is pastoral. What a find!"

"This property is in a peaceful location and offers comfortable accommodation for a couple. The bathroom is downstairs but well equipped. The kitchen is adequate although a newer fridge and a small oven would make a big difference. We enjoyed our stay."

"Off the tourist track but with a few places for nice visits. In hot weather pool v good for children. Quirky property on outskirts of nice small town with all necessary shops. Significant road noise in main bedrooms but sofa beds in quiet air conditioned living room. Very spacious house and garden. Owner was very attentive. We had very pleasant stay with primary age children."

Les problèmes de communication sont dûs principalement à Abritel qui fait tout pour éviter un contact direct (mail, téléphone) entre les hôtes et les visiteurs, il en résulte des délais trop longs entre questions/réponses... "Naomi's gite in Montreal was perfect for my needs and Naomi was kind and accommodating throughout my stay. The house in which the gite is located is on the highway into Montreal but it is not noisy and I was able to leave the windows open at night and not be bothered by traffic sounds. The gite is spacious and well-equipped; Naomi has outfitted the kitchen to enable guests to do their own cooking. The village of Montreal is tres petite and charming, but has no grocery store to speak of, so...

"We absolutely loved this house . The owner made many thoughtful changes when they renovated the house - lights that turn on and off automatically , well appointed and stocked kitchen , comfortable bedding , clean bathrooms , great shower pressure and plumbing , excellent doors and windows - the list goes on and on . The owner , Jacques was kind to answer all our questions pre arrival and Michelle the manager greeted us and cheerfully showed us all the elements of this house. Asnieres Sous Bois...

"The location and Gite were fantastic, right by a river which Bruno was fishing for Cray Fish! Bruno couldn’t do enough for us and the lovely Chocolate Ganache was excellent! Very quite, peaceful, beautiful walks through the woods and can’t wait to get back there next year!"

"We loved our time at Champallement which is a very pretty village in beautiful countryside. Our host was extremely helpful prior to arrival and the house is just as described in the listing. Comfortable beds, high quality dishwasher and washing machine, a good garden for us and our dogs (though a determined dog could escape quite easily). Kitchen was well equipped but small for more than one person. Very good shower. Fantastic dog walks all around and lakes for swimming just 15 minutes away...
