This cottage located in Dirol in the very center of the Nièvre department will allow you to discover the Burgundy region. The Nivernais canal passes at its feet, with the newly opened cycle path. Ideal for bicycle fishing enthusiasts and anyone who likes to enjoy life by the water.
It can accommodate up to 5 people.
The geographical location allows those who are passionate about the history of Burgundy to get to know sites that have from the Middle Ages or in the 15th century hosted personalities such as Mahaut de Courtenay or Vauban, to visit Nevers the first castle of the Loire. and in Vézelay the basilica of the "Eternal City", which is still the starting point for the pilgrimage to Compostela

The 140 m² gite includes:
- 1 living room with a TV and a sofa bed
- 1 fully equipped kitchen: stove, microwave, fridge, dishwasher
- 3 bedrooms comprising in total: 1 double bed and 3 single beds (5pers) the beds are made for the arrival of tourists.
Cot, bath, changing table, high chair and baby stroller are provided. Pets allowed. (3 € per and per animal)
This rental with a terrace and a garden by the Nivernais canal will offer you a relaxing holiday. The green setting, the proximity of the canal where the pleasure boats pass make it a lively and cosmopolitan place that remains silent. children will love having fun outdoors and those who enjoy the outdoors will feel far from the hassles of everyday life.

A spacious and comfortable house in a beautiful and peaceful location overlooking a canal. There is plenty of outdoor space and you can enjoy walks along the canal. The owners, who live next door, are exceptionally kind and helpful. Highly recommended, especially for families.

Séjour bucolique

Mes amies et moi étions très à l'aise et confortables dans cette maison spacieuse. La vue sur le canal du Nivernais et la campagne nous ont ravies à tous les petits déjeuners, déjeuners et autres apéros pris dans le joli jardin. La proximité de Corbigny "corbeille de Vie" est un atout pour ce gîte. Le Morvan c'est vraiment super ! Les propriétaires sont très charmants.

Gîte idéal pour vacances vélo au bord du canal du Nivernais

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette maison spacieuse et au charme rustique (murs en pierre très épais et charpente impressionnante!). Les pièces sont spacieuses, la propreté irréprochable et la cuisine bien équipée. Certes, Dirol est un tout petit village sans guère de commerces ni d'activités, mais pour ceux qui recherchent le calme et un accès direct à la piste cyclable du Canal du Nivernais, ce gîte est parfait!

Burgundy hideaway

Michelle is an excellent hostess and the house has been beautifully modernized with 3 huge bathrooms and yet also maintains its original character and charm. The house is right on the canal and has a wonderful view over the fields. A peaceful spot.

Une belle expérience

Nous avons bien aimé notre séjour dans cette maison. L'emplacement est parfait avec la vue sur le canal et un pont. La maison est correcte, l'équipement en partie un peu daté. La literie par contre est très bonne. Sympathique aussi les échanges avec les propriétaires, qui habitent juste à côté. Tout sommé on s'est régalés.

Pleasant quiet location and the weather a bonus

We had a wonderful time, plenty of room for the two of us and three bedlingtons. Comfortable Bed and peaceful nights to wake to lovely views of on the canal. Early morning mist adding to the splender of the views . Good location, although car trips essential to see all the area has to offer. The owners were warm and welcoming providing information on places to visit and services locally. We will return.

Ruim, sfeervol huis in stil dorpje aan het kanaal.

Weliswaar op het terrein van de verhuurders, maar dat was op geen enkele manier bezwaarlijk. Bijzonder aardige mensen die zich niet opdrongen. In het huis veel nuttige info over wandelen, fietsen en bezienswaardigheden.
