Ivano, the owner, was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. He gave us a full introduction to the hotel and the wonderful top-floor suite, plus he recommended a route to see a number of key sites and views which was most helpful. The breakfasts were excellent, especially the fruit salad, granola and yogurt. The internal lift meant minimal stairs, which was very useful for us. All in all, a brilliant holiday and we can thoroughly recommend the Relais A Ponte Pietra.

Relais a Ponte Petra was so beautiful, we stayed in the Suite and it is immaculate. Located in the heart of all the attractions. Ivano provided such an amazing service, with a beautiful breakfast in the morning. We wished we stayed in Verona for longer. Will be coming back to stay here when in town again! Wonderful Hotel!
Everything about this hotel is wonderful. The hospitality Ivano showed was amazing! The room (suite) is beautifully appointed and spacious! The breakfast was fantastic as well... exactly what one needs before starting the day's activities. The location is perfect... walking distance from all the shops and restaurants. And don't worry about parking. It is provided right in front of the hotel. We absolutely loved our stay here.

Modern amenities in a a 14th century building that is feet from the spectacular Ponte Pietro. Clean, beautiful, quiet and a comfy bed with pressed linens. Ivano is both hotelier and a walking Wikipedia. What a find this one was.

Great suite in great location
Ivano was a great host and we were able to park right in front of the property! The location is great and allows access to bridge, river and centre of the city. We stayed at the suite, so if you are taller than 1.8m be mindful of your head in the bathroom. The room was big and as shown in the pictures!

Watch out with parking
The place is nice, AC works well, breakfast outstanding. Parking is totally miss stated as "free parking on premises" as there was no such thing. The establishment charged 15 EU per day for a small garage, with cars also parked in front of the door by permission from establishment. The top floor suite is very comfortable and spacious, lots of storage space. Bathroom marginal. toiletries marginal. Service excellent.

Perfect spot to enjoy Verona!!
My wife and I had a lovely two night stay here and wish it were longer. The location is perfect, the building historic, the timing of breakfast flexible, and the owner was very nice and helpful. There are six rooms in this building. My advice book immediately! If you delay the rooms may very well be snapped up.

Fabulous stay
We stayed in the suite for 3 nights. The main room is enormous! Super comfortable bed, 2 sofas, tables, quiet fridge, effective and quiet air con, classic decorations. It has the whole top floor to itself. There is a flight of steps inside the room down to the 2nd floor where a lift will take you to the foyer. There is limited roof space in the bathroom so if you are over 6’ tall (180cms) you will have to duck. Ivano is a fabulous host. He showed us his recommended walking itinerary and it was perfect. He brings breakfast to your room each morning and it’s great. The fruit salad is an absolute work of art. The location is just inside the old town at Ponte Pietra and there are many restaurants, bars and gelateria in easy walking distance. There’s 2 Michelin mentioned restaurants within a 5 min walk - 1 directly opposite. There are several bus routes from the train station to Ponte Pietra and tickets can be bought at vending machines or on an app. Wifi was a little patchy at times. Recommended as a place with real character for your visit to Verona.

A great experience from arrival to departure. Step out of the door and you are on the Ponte Pietra and everything in the old town is nearby including lovely restaurants. Very helpful staff, lovely room with nice bathroom. Air conditioning and fridge in room. Great breakfast brought to your room. If you need a taxi plan ahead and leave a time margin to ensure that you get one to collect you from the hotel.

Although I did not know what a “relais” was prior to booking (the Relais today is an exclusive place, where you can spend a luxury stay in a structure usually small, family-run, immersed in a unique place, in the green countryside and characterized by the elegance of the spaces external and internal, with large rooms and high quality services ...) and was a bit surprised to realize this place was not a hotel, our room and the service were absolutely fantastic. We were in a historic house right by the bridge!!!! Would highly recommend for those looking to stay in an old Italian home!

Breakfast was served in our room and was the best breakfast we had in Italy, all food was fresh and high quality.
