GuestHost - San Marco view of Venetian rooftops Apartment

  • Apartment located on the fourth floor of a building without an lift. There is an internal staircase leading to the altana (a terrace built with wooden planks above the roofs of Venetian houses).

    With 60 square metres of space, it accommodates 2 people and features one bedroom with a double bed

    Breathtaking views over the rooftops of the City of Love par excellence.



    We are located in the heart of the city, in the San Marco district, the most charming and renowned because it is home to most of the city’s famous landmarks.



    The interior is laid out as follows:



    LIVING AREA: living room with a sofa and a relaxation area, and a fully equipped kitchen with a 4-burner gas stove, dishwasher, electric kettle, conventional oven, microwave, and toaster. Split-system air conditioning.

    BEDROOM: double bed. Split air conditioner.

    BATHROOM: shower stall, bidet, and toilet; washing machine and dryer.



    OTHER AMENITIES: unlimited Wi-Fi, TV, and clothesline.



    The AC split units can be turned on INDIVIDUALLY, one at a time, and not simultaneously to prevent them from shutting down.

    Seven days before arrival, you will receive instructions on how to register your documents via our Guest Portal and pay the tourist tax owed to the City of Venice. Starting April 25, a pilot programme for the access fee to Venice’s historic centre will be in effect. Perfect location in Venice and loved the rooftop patio. Great view over the city. Very close to the Rialto Bridge. The apartment was very difficult to find until our host sent us a video of how to find and access the apartment. It seems building numbers in Venice are not always sequential and in this case the building number was not showing. The video from our nice host fixed all that. There were problems with the on-demand hot water heater so showers were an adventure temperature-wise and it seemed the overall building water pressure affected the performance of the temperature at the shower head. Our host said he would take up that problem with the building owner for a fix. One of the hallway lights on the landing floor below us was not working so at night we needed to have our cell phone lights ready to use. Overall a wonderful place to stay if the shower water temperature gets fixed.
