We are happy to stay here for 3 nights. It's clean and convenient location. The master bedroom is very spacious and nice, the second bedroom though is very small only enough for a twin bed. Also the second bedroom can hardly get covered by wifi, which is a little inconvenient.

Excellent location for exploring Venice. General area can be very busy with tourists but walk a few alleys over and there’s no one. It took a while to figure this out but once we did it was fabulous. The apartment is spacious, quiet and decorated in true Venitian style. We loved it!

The location is excellent - positioned midway between the Rialto Bridge and San Marco Square. Central but quiet, being on a side street on a tiny canal. Also convenient for water transport to and from the airport and train station. The front desk staff member was very helpful, although not available for periods of the day. The rooms had an old world charm and the scarcity of electrical sockets in our particular apartment was indicative of the buildings age, rather than the hotel’s willingness to provide for its guests needs. A really lovely touch was the gift of an excellent bottle of wine from the palazzetto owners own family vineyard. Would happily stay at San Lio again although would probably select one of the other larger apartments.

This property is just a few minutes walk from the Rialto Bridge where the water bus stops, so it's a great base for seeing Venice. There are mini-supermarkets, grocery stores, bakers, cafes and restaurants all around the area, so staying here is made easy. The building and the apartment have the atmosphere of "Old Venice", but the apartment has lots of space and all the facilities we needed. The kitchen is fairly modern, though the bathroom could do with a refresh. Very welcoming and helpful property manager. There are stairs to go up and down, but you have your own view of a canal from your window.

Really friendly and caring staff. We had to book in a hurry as our daughter was taken ill suddenly. Fortunately, Alice and Federica were amazing and let us have early access when we needed to drop out bags and hurry to the hospital. The apartment was clean and spacious and had all that we needed - could have done with a few more cups - to self cater. The central location is excellent for the Rialto bridge, St Marks and only a few minutes walk to Fondamente Nova for the vaporetto to Murano and Burano. Despite the unfortunate circumstances we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great location! It has all the amenities however, the room smelled and they missed a cigarette on the floor. Bed and pillow was not comfortable for us. I did NOT like the communication. I couldn't send a pic of our passports via Expedia app so I asked for the email and the sent it dashed out (----@----.--)..I should not have to deal with that during my vacation. It would have been way easier 1 had to deal with this 2 days before my stay. It would have been so much easier and convenient 1 mo before our stay. We had to call the place on their doorstep trying to send the passport info. And on the phone not friendly at all.

We enjoyed our stay at this apartment in Venice. It is very centrally located and has a supermarket and dozens of restaurants nearby. It was a little difficult communicating with the staff, since there is no one on site. We were able to check in without issue, but our other questions went unanswered. The apartment is a bit shabby but overall a good place to stay in Venice.

No staff at the location. Had to pick-up keys and instruction to a different location half hour away. No Internet upon arrival. When complained about it by email, staff was trying to blame our phones and laptop of malfunctioning. Problem was solved only two days later.
