This is a wonderful small quiet hotel right in the heart of San Marco. Minutes from the Rialto Bridge, San Marco Basilica and restaurants and shops.
The staff are wonderful...professional, friendly and helpful.
Staff were friendly and the was clean . Hotel was conveniently near the Rialto Bridge and water bus stop.
However could do with black out blinds for the windows very light in the morning.
All though the street it is on - which is narrow and run down- the hotel and rooms are very nice. Clean and tidy and with good amenities. Very convenient for the water taxis at the Rialto bridge, which is very busy, but great for getting around. Lots of good food outlets only a few minutes away.
Front desk was average as far as friendliness goes. Room was fine. Shower was great. Outlets next to the bed which was great. Probably wouldn't stay here again though. Would choose somewhere with an elevator. Which of course was my fault for not checking. But within 1 minute of Rialto Bridge and less then 10 to St Mark's square so location was great.
The staff at Hotel Aurora were very friendly and helpful, and the location next to the famous Rialto Bridge made it easy to find and explore the city. The room was small but comfortable. However, the breakfast was disappointing.

Easy checkin and excellent location. Older style but clean and tidy. Thanks for the great stay 😊
Phenomenal location, steps from Rialto. Junior Suite Room is small and basic, but the bunk beds allowed 4 grown people to sleep in comfort. Customer service was responsive. Bathroom is newly remodeled, but small with nowhere to set anything. We had a hanging shoe organizer and used it to hold our toiletries in the bathroom. Included a terrace that looked over the alleyway. AC worked well.
The hotel location was perfect for walking and the water bus stop for all of Venice was right there. The beds were comfortable, room was small but normal for Europe standards. Bathroom could use some work.

Good location but no elevator, and no towel. The room is a bit dated but the bathroom is updated.
It was a decent size room but we were suprise how they maximize the room. My kids loved the bunk bed.

The Hotel is very well situated, you can reach everything you need in just few minutes.
It was quiet, nice ambient.
You can see the hotel is older, there were few things broken, but ok. We can recommend.

excellent location right by Rialto bridge and steps away from water taxi. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was good and promptly served. You must be able to walk up stairs. Other than that I recommend
Great spot for a single night and quick stay. Very easy to find and easy to get too from the Rialto stop. The staff was great. We booked a room with sleeping for 3 but received a room with a single bed. Overall fit our needs.

Very comfortable beds. No shampoo, soap. Mold in shower but good for a quick stay
Perfect location close to the Rialto bridge. We were met by a really lovely guy on reception who we unfortunately never got the name of. We were luckily given a room upgrade from the standard room we originally booked which was a really lovely surprise.
The room was large, clean and comfortable, we couldn’t have asked for better. Would definitely stay again as the price was great for the location.
A wee note is we found Google and Apple Maps were able to take us to the restaurant rather than the hotel when looking up the address when first arriving, just incase anyone can’t find it.
The location was perfect right next to rialto bridge, walkable to most places. There were many restaurants and supermarkets around. The hotel seemed it was renovated not long ago. Gives vintage vibe. It’s only stairs no lift that was not a problem. The staff were friendly the check in was great. We even got one of the rooms upgraded. When we go back to Venice we would stay there again.
Stylish with the city! Loved the room-
Walk up with luggage challenging and no one offered to help.
Staff behaved as if you are supposed to know about the services offered but I had to ask for everything- place to store luggage, restaurant attached with breakfast included. Etc…
The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance of most attractions. The Rialto Bridge is steps away as are the water buses. It is surrounded by shops and restaurants.
The reception is small but adequate. The room was a good size and lovely and warm when I arrived. It was quite chilly in the city at that time. Extra blankets were also provided.
The bathroom had a lovely waterfall shower.
There was a fridge and safe in the room which was nice and an open rail with hangers to hang your clothes.
All in all a great experience.
We traveled in multiple cities in Italy (Rome/Florence/Milan/Venice) and this hotel was the worse! I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone!!! its in horrible condition, rooms are very very small, very old and outdated. It is not the cheapest hotel pricewise but definitely not the nicest one. Location wise it is good but I would never ever book this hotel again.
Overall, a decent place to stay. The issue we had were the fact that it’s extremely noisy. There is a door to the hallway that separated the main area that was kept open for some reason so we could hear all the commotion in the main hallway until 3-4am. It wasn’t quiet until I shut the door the next night and was able to get some sleep.
Also, the shower was barely big enough for an adult. The water had to be shut off to lather up because your head is under the shower head no matter how you stand in there.
Aside from those two things, the room was decent overall. The bed was comfortable and staff were friendly. The location was great but difficult to find at first. Once you get the hang of Venice, it’s not too bad.
