Good place

Third stay - we love being away from the crowds but having easy access to transport / airport 1 stop away and boats easily reached on both sides of the island. Variety of eating options close at hand. The apartment easy to be in - comfortable main bedroom. Communications were flawless.

Everything was perfekt. We had a lot of personal questions during the stay, and Maria Teresa was very helpful all the time and she answered our questions immedially. We are very thankful for her help. For us, it was the best place, we ever had in this area. Restaurants, Spar, bakery, Fishmarket, vegatable market, ... every place so near and fresh. Having an apartment overlooking a canal in Venice says it all but we feel we should add a few more positives. The neighborhood is Venetian and real, only a hop, skip, or jump from the popular tourist areas. The apartment has lots of windows as it’s a corner unit. We rarely use the heat, but it was a nice, efficient option as we were there during a very rainy time. The bathroom had a great shower and plenty of amenities. The kitchen had everything you need The bed was big and comfortable and the chairs in the living room/dining room were a bonus The welcome basket of goodies was very appreciated as well. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay in Venice at this apartment. Our only recommendation would be for more lighting in all of the room, especially the bathroom . A very simple fix.

Great stay

Maria was excellent about giving clear instructions, and was helpful with navigating around Venice. The location of the apartment was perfect, really easy to get to, and in a quiet neighborhood. Lots of very close excellent food choices, and the best gelato I’ve ever had just a couple of blocks away! I will be staying here again in the future!

Perfect for our visit

We stayed for five nights in this clean, comfortable, well equipped apartment which is very conveniently located; the area is quiet and yet everything is close by. The apartment looks out onto a canal and we found a bakery, a greengrocer and plenty of restaurants all very close by as well as being only a few minutes from the train station and a vaporetto stop. The host is welcoming and helpful and check-in was easy. A very enjoyable stay.

Great Location

We enjoyed staying in a quieter area of Venice right on a canal where we could watch boats go by! It was conveniently located close to the water bus station to leave for the airport. Many stores and restaurants nearby. The kitchen allowed us to cook some meals in and we washed clothes in the washer and hung them on the line over the canal to dry! Our host was in frequent contact to provide recommendations and information. We would definitely recommend!!

Emplacement idéal

Dès que j'ai réservé l'appartement, la propriétaire m'a envoyé de l'information concernant l'appartement et les différents moyens de transport à Venise. Tout au long de notre séjour, elle a pris de nos nouvelles et a répondu avec gentillesse à nos questions. L'appartement se trouve à quelques petites minutes de l'arrêt Madonna dell'Orto. L'endroit est calme, pas achalandé par les touristes. Le lit est confortable, les draps sont de bonne qualité. Parfait pour un couple.

good apartment but rude host

Despite a very good contact with the host before and on the day of our arrival, she became rude when we were locked out on the street the first evening because the key to the gate would not open it. Fortunately, a neighbor entered the courtyard. The host told us we had "no manual skills" and that Venice was "not a desert, ask for help!". It's unfortunate because the apartment is in a quiet area, with a bakery nearby, and has everything one may need.

Quiet Retreat in busy Venice

Maria Teresa was great; She met us at the Alilaguna stop as our phones were't working. She showed us the local grocery store and bakery. The apartment was clean, had sugar and coffee and she even left us a bottle of prosecco! Everything was easy to visit and it was away form the crowds with a wonderful view of a quiet canal. We found local restaurants within a 5 minute walk as well as Tintoretto's local church and burial place! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Charming apartment in the north of Venice.

This is a charming place to stay in an excellent neighbourhood away from the crowds. Our host's assistant met us at the train station and walked us to to the apartment, about a 10 minute walk. It was about a 30 minute walk to the Guggenheim museum, etc. in the southern part of Venice, and it was easily accessible via vaporetto (water bus). This was a very relaxing place to have breakfast at home before venturing out and to return to at end of day. Grazie mille to Maria Teresa and Marcella!

Great location

This apartment was very well located and was very spacious. The owner Maria Teresa was very helpful and responsive to all our requests, she arranged a 4am pick up to the airport which helped us with a difficult departure

Perfect for us

We liked being in Cannaregio, as quiet a part of Venice as you’ll find. We loved exploring the old Jewish Gheto. The apartment was comfortable, cozy. Maria Teresa gave us a nice restaurant recommendation, her housekeeper met us at the train station and walked us (about 10 minutes with a few small bridges). If you fly into Venice, it’s one stop on the water bus and only a 3 minute walk.

Lovely Venetian apartment!

This is a lovely little apartment in Cannaregio, Venice. Away from the hustle and bustle, but near enough to eateries and “Strada Nova”. Very close to Water taxi and to Marco Polo airport. Communication with the owner was wonderful. Overall we would highly recommend this property.

Exactly as Described

The apartment is in a great non-tourist location, yet a convenient walk or vaporetto ride to the sites of Venice. After a busy day touring it was very nice to get back to the Cannaregio area. We were very comfortable there during our stay in Venice. There are several restaurants, bars, and a supermarket nearby. Maria Theresa provided a great orientation to the area and was a pleasure to work with from the initial inquiry.

Charming, peaceful flat in lovely Cannaregio, central to everything

Maria Teresa is a wonderful host who provided us with treasured memories of Venice. She was responsive and helpful with all our inquiries. The location is near the vaporetto (1 stop from Marco Polo airport) and within easy access of all the sites - Rialto Bridge, San Marco etc. Yet it's far enough away from the heavily touristy areas to give you a flavour of the real Venice. The place was spotless and she welcomed us with a bottle of lovely wine. The WiFi was great - always important! We suggest a place called Vino Vero for wine and Cicceti (tapas), which is very close by. I would definitely book this place again.

Super séjour à Cannaregio

Nous sommes arrivés pour un long week-end et l'appartement était idéalement situé à côté d'un débarcadère depuis l'aéroport, et à deux pas de la ville. Les fenêtres donnent sur un canal calme, au 1er étage, et quel bonheur d'ouvrir ses volets en voyant le petit trafic matinal vénitien! La logeuse avait fait tout le nécessaire pour nous accueillir et l'appartement est doté de tous les éléments utiles pour un séjour formidable.

Tres bel appartement avec vu sur un petit canal .

L'appartement est situe dans un quartier tres calme du canarregio. Il est tres confortable pour deux personnes. De l'aeroport a la station de vaporetto orto environ 20 minutes avec les bateaux taxi allilaguna. Bel vu de la salle a manger sur un petit canal. Nous avons rencontre la proprietaire tres a l'ecoute de ses locataires. Remise des clefs sans probleme..un tres bon sejour a venise. Eric et sofia.

Best home rental in Venice!

We had the best time ever at this home. It's extremely clean, has everything we need, and Maria Teresa is very responsive to whatsapp messages. The wonderful housekeeper, Marcella, picked us up from the bus terminal and walked with us to the house. The house is easy to get to from everywhere we Venice. We walked to everywhere - the bus terminal, train station. The house is so beautiful, right on the canal. It has every little detail taken care of. Best place to stay in Venice!
