Vastra Hamnen Hotels, Malmö

While Vastra Hamnen is quite unique, Malmö's Gamla Staden (Old Town) offers a comparable experience for those who appreciate history and a central location, while Limhamn provides a more relaxed, coastal feel similar to parts of Vastra Hamnen.Gamla Staden is the historic heart of Malmö, characterised by its cobbled streets, half-timbered houses, and grand squares like Stortorget and Lilla Torg. It's a very walkable area, home to many of the city's main attractions, including Malmö Castle and the St. Peter's Church. You'll find a wide array of restaurants, cafes, and shops here, from traditional Swedish fare to modern dining. This area is superb for couples who enjoy exploring historical sites on foot and appreciate having a wealth of dining and entertainment options right on their doorstep. For those who enjoy Vastra Hamnen's proximity to the water and a slightly more residential, yet well-connected, environment, Limhamn is an excellent alternative.
