Not very clean.. the cabinet doors in the washroom is teared up and worn out. Tv isn't working, the staff didn't even give us instruction where to go or park after he recieved us. We have to go back to the front desk after we park and ask him again which way to go to our room.

The room itself was spacious and comfortable. No elevators though so with heavy bags it is a bit of a heave. Parking is also tight and the design of the lobby and the property doesn't give a feeling of safety. But it was fine as a place to stay.

I had read reviews on Google that painted this property in a bad light. I'm happy to say those reviews were definitely not my experience. Both the check-in and check-out staff were friendly and were quick to check me in. The room we were in was freshly renovated with new carpets and tile throughout. Also the cabinets and everything was new except the tub which did have a discoloration on it from being older but it was clean. I recommend this hotel as a great budget friendly option when coming to Surrey. It worked great as a place to sleep and also had a full kitchen in it so I could prepare meals and skip the ever expensive restaurants in the area. Will be back there sometime when I come back to the Vancouver area.

This place is okay for a 1 night crash pad. I don’t recommend staying here for an actual vacation stay. Stayed here after going to Whistler and it was close-ish to the Abbotsford airport. There were some sketchy people out front/in the lobby when we arrived (possibly a place for ladies of the night?). Only “visitor” parking out front so we had to park in the back. Checking in was fine and the customer service was okay. Nothing notable good or bad. The amount of camera footage at the desk is kind of crazy and had me confused since it’s Surrey, feels like you’re being watched. They do take a $200 deposit which seems excessive as most hotels are $100. The room leaves a lot to be desired. Definitely not clean and didn’t want to use the shower due to rust (?) on the bottom. The bedding was super rough and pilled and the A/C didn’t work.

Fair price, clean and quiet

My boyfriend and I had a good little getaway here for the weekend. The non-smoking jacuzzi suite was in good condition! Its an older building but they maintain it well, had no problems with electrical or plumbing. The bed was very clean, so was all the furniture. The jacuzzi tub was clean, especially the jets which is always a gamble when booking a hotel. The cleanliness of the suite overall was good! The staff were polite and helpful, answered any questions I had. Also a blessing that they have AC as BC summers are super hot and humid!

Pleasant Stay

I had a pleasant stay at Canadian Inn. I found the room and bathroom clean. There is parking space in the rear for the guests. This property has elevator. Newton exhange is not far. There are bus stops nearby.
