"All the staff, especially the concierge John, were extremely friendly and helpful. John arranged activities, scooters and coordinated our difficult connecting transportation requirements. The spa was amazing and our room was by far the most beautiful, modern and well appointed of any we've experienced. A spectacular view, extremely comfortable bedding and uncommon conveniences like an in room Nesspresso, auto dimming cove, recessed and under cabinet lighting made it feel very homey....

On Aug 2024 neighbor area is like construction side, only few restaurant in nearby area, to be honest if you are foreign tourist prepare some cash or find another place for your own good! Cheers"

"Nice hotel, nice room, but in the middle of nowhere and no one speaking english (even if it was written so) I took this room to take the ferry to Co To Island, but after many struggles, I finally understood that this was the old port and now the ferry is 5km further"

"The ship is definitely older but functional. Friendly staff and helpful. Bring water as they charge for it through the cruise (all beverages are for sale). They need to improve their timetable as all boats are trying to do the same activities at the same time leading to the sites being extremely crowded (the second morning the sites were empty!). Overall worth it but if I was to go again, I would do a longer cruise or a day cruise."

My original departure was cancelled due to tropical storm but they contacted me, arranged a new date that suited me and helped me sort my transport to and from Halong (from Hanoi and to Ninh Binh)"
