That pretty much sums up the town. The small French village of Valbonne, about 15 minutes north of Cannes, was also used for the scene where Luc fights with his brother in the main village square in front of the Hotel les Armoiries, an old seventeenth century building.

"A lovely hotel in an excellent situation on Promenade des Anglais. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet was the best we've experienced. The buses and trams made it easy to get around and explore Nice and run frequently near the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay and certainly hope to return soon."
