We stay for eight days ( couple trip ) . The location is so handy to sightseeing , skytree tower and temple . Steps away to cafes , restaurant and metro station . The washer/dryer was excellent to have in our room . The city view and tower just across our room is so great that makes such a perfect holiday . The water pressure is strong , very nice smells of toiletries . The laundry liquid soap on sachet is such a big help during our stay . The dishwashing liquid and sponge is also a big help...

2nd stay in Ueno and this is preferred location. Quiet but easy walk to market streets. Stations. Food. Park. Shopping. Bistro serves great F&B. Room larger than average and ever so comfy. Recommended!

Loved staying at Tabi Ueno Tokyo. It was clean and modern with a Japanese feel. Given we had a small child, having a washer/dryer in the room was fantastic. The location was great, we could walk everywhere and about 5min walk to Ueno station, the Ueno Zoo, markets. Easy access to trains required for day trips. Would definitely recommend Tabi Ueno.

This is a fantastic property and is so well located in Ueno. 5mins from Ueno Park, 2mins from a supermarket, 2mins from Inaricho Subway stat. Its accessible directly from Narita airport via the Keisei Line Skyliner. The staff are so wonderful but it is the rooms that really win this for me. They are so spacious and perfect for families, with cooking facilities and a great layout that allows you to experience a japanese way of life in a modern setting. The property and the rooms are spotless and...

Great location, super friendly staff, beautiful rooms and v spacious for a japanese hotel with enough room to sit and play games or enjoy a drink/ bite to eat (we had a 4 person room with bunks and friends stayed in a 6 person room which was also spacious with 2 sitting/ dining areas). Beds are super comfy (but firm) and overall we had a great stay.
Highly recommend for families traveling with kids. Easy to get to from Ueno Stations (Keisei and JR coming from either Narita or Haneda), metro...

Incredible experience staying at Section L in Yushima. Very well located in a less touristic area of Tokyo. The hotel and room are very clean and well appointed - you can self cater some of your meals very easily. Very highly recommend this hotel as value for money in an incredible city.

The staff was absolute wonderful and very accommodating to our special needs to late arrivals and early departures and everything in between. Highly recommended for their excellent service.

This was my favourite hotel in Tokyo for so many reasons — Location is convenient and walkable to/from convenience stores & train stations including Keisei Ueno Station for Narita Airport access; Rooms are spacious and bright and very clean; View of Ueno Park and Shinobazuno Pond from the room is breathtaking; All staff are friendly and welcoming (and my family would like to especially thank Do who was very helpful during our stay!); Check in/check out process was easy and check out is...

Great sized room with space to keep 3 bags open and accessible during the stay. The location is excellent, being in a fairly quiet area but equal distance (5-10 minute walk) to Ueno, Okachmachi and Inaricho stations, and easy access to multiple different train lines to get to a lot of Tokyo areas easily. Ueno park an accessible walk as well. Plenty of restaurants and convenience stores within a couple of blocks too. Laundry facilities in room was a bonus too. Would definitely recommend to...

It was a comfortable, clean room in a good location - public transport was close by and it had several good restaurants close by. We walked to Ueno park and Senso-ji temple. The room didn't have a coffee maker but I could rent this free of charge from the front desk so had all we needed for breakfast prep. Staff were friendly and we were were able to communicate with a translation app. We overlooked the train station which was noisy but it didn't really bother us...we would happily stay here...

Nice little traditional hotel tucked away from the hustle and bustle and yet only 10 mins walk away from JR Uguisdani station. The traditional complimentary tea ceremony was a plus!
