Had a lovely stay in this resort. The royal pool villa room was amazing with nice interior design and furnishing. The food at bird hill restaurant was such a treat. Every dish we ordered came out tasty Service was also impeccable; the staff were helpful and accommodating to our needs. There is also a cute and shy villa cat that roams around. Hiring private transport is a must as it can be difficult to walk into and out of the premise.

Room was very clean and bed was super comfortable. Private pool was very cool looking out over the jungle, but the water was very cold! Location isn’t bad during the day as you can take the ridge walk right into Ubud Centre in about a 20 min walk. But at night it’s about a 20 min taxi ride back as you have to go all the way around.

Perfect & luxurious! Felt like luxury camping in the woods. Heated pool might be too much to ask, but water does get cold that it gets difficult to step into the pool. Overall one of the best vacations!

Fantastic place to stay in Ubud
Great place to stay in Ubud, about 30min to Ubud town via ridge walk. Villas were very nice and comfortable. Few small places to get coffee/food within walking distance (and short walk to Karsa Spa) but we mostly ate at the restaurant - which was fantastic! Lots of choices and great food. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Loved staying here, thank you!!

Truly one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Room was fantastic, comfortable, clean, all amenities provided. Private pool was perfect for relaxation, as was the outdoor bathtub. Service from the staff, every single member, was friendly, welcoming and efficient - they were awesome. The view from the restaurant was spectacular, and the infinity pool overlooking the jungle was just out of this world. There are only about 15 villas on the property, so almost certainly you'll get some alone time in the pool - I never saw more than 2 people in there at once. Free shuttle bus to Ubud town center every two hours between 10am and 6pm, and free shuttle return from town to the hotel every two hours from 10.30am to 6.30pm - this service was seamless and super handy. Free 15 minute foot massage provided plus a welcome drink, very nice. Complimentary afternoon tea at the restaurant daily. Really I cannot say a single bad thing about this hotel - I LOVED it and I didn't want to leave. Highly, highly recommended.

Quiet hotel with incredibly friendly staff
We booked this after reading some great reviews, and we were not disappointed! When we arrived we were greeted by all the friendly staff - and we got a free room upgrade from the lovely receptionist! We got a tour of the grounds, and shown to our room. Rooms are lovely, and we were offered a complimentary foot massage and yoga class. They also off free shuttle down to the main road 5 times a day - very handy! Safe and quiet area. This place was so unique, I've never stayed anywhere quite as lovely and tranquil as Amora Villas!

Beautiful views and peaceful location
Spent two nights here - one by myself and another with a platonic friend. The hotel is really beautiful and the view from my Valley Suite room, from the private pool was great. Super comfortable bed that you'll fall asleep in seconds in. A thing to note about the shower and toilet in the Valley Suite room at least - the toilet, while it has a door, is right near the bed and isn't entirely sound proof so keep that in mind. Also, the indoor shower has great water pressure but go easy or else you'll flood the floor! And do make sure to try the outdoor tub. They even include bath salts and bath foam which was really sweet! Also, it's a quick walk down the road to the Campuhan Ridge which leads to one of Ubud's main streets on the other end. Great sunrise or sunset walk!

Wonderful village location. Very friendly staff.
The hotel is fairly new and the staff are still learning the ropes to some extent, but that's part of the charm of the place. The views are absolutely stunning. The hotel offers a 7 am stroll to the village and a visit to a typical Bali house, which I highly recommend. You learn a lot about the local culture in just an hour and it sets you up in a great frame of mind for the rest of the day or for your visit. Just open your mind to the spirit of Bali and you'll feel better for it! I am in my mid 50s and travelling alone, but felt safe in the hotel. They will take you anywhere - at an extra cost (not much by first world standards). If you are fit in enough for a few hours hike (including very steep uphill climb), the Mount Batur sunrise trek is well worthwhile (book a massage afterwards). Also try to catch a Balinese dance show (twice a week in Ubud). I didn't make the yoga barn this time but will be sure to return when my flexibility is more up to the task. Back home now and already wishing I was back in Bali.

It was a shame we only stayed one night. This was my partners favourite part of our 14 day trip. We were nestled amongst the lush greenery of the Ubud jungle with the ability to watch squirrels and birds play in the tree. Our neighbouring hotel rooms felt a mile away, although being side by side. The food was a definite highlight, we opted for a set meal which exceeded my expectations and was well worth the cost. Overall an amazing place, would recommend to anyone who wants 5 star accommodation for a fraction of the price. Very impressed!

Wonderful
Amora Ubud is a special place, away from the chaotic main strip of Ubud. The hotel offers a free shuttle to the centre of Ubud which is also reachable by a beautiful 20min walk! The hotel is well kept, the rooms are spacious and the private pool with fantastic views makes the stay there incredible! The staff were always kind and ready to help. Ayu, a lovely girl that checked us in, looked after us and made every effort to make sure everything was perfect!

Excellent hotel in quiet location. Great as a romantic short stay. There's a shuttle to Ubud or its a fair walk but through beautiful scenery . Went with some staff to a locals house and experienced part of their normal life. Staff are great, very warm, welcoming and accommodating.

Was so relaxing here, we didn't want to venture out but if you do it's fantastically well located for Ubud without staying in the town as there is a path that cuts through the valley. It's a nice walk and more direct than the road. With bad traffic it's probably quicker than the car. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Organised all transfers for us. We even extended our room booking as we didn't want to leave!

Really hate to break the high review score. The Good ----------- The villa was brand new. Just opened not too long ago. So the facilities looks new. The staff were wonderful. Attended to your needs even in the middle of the night. The food was surprisingly good. Saw some other reviews about the food, but it was not too bad at all. Just that for price wise, there is a premium charged due to the location. The Not so Good ------------- Unfortunately, when we were there, the facilities aren't performing too well. The water supply was cut off several times and due to the low capacity tank, you probably can't use the bath tub in the room. The power was cut off twice in our first night. Maybe we were not so lucky to be allocated a room with a giant tree in the middle, so the pool was perpetually littered with bugs and leaves most of the time.

Good Relaxing Hotel for Couples
Quiet and relaxing atmosphere in Amora Ubud Villa. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast selection ala carte style. Wonderful place for couples looking for some time away from city life. Beautiful surroundings in the middle of the valley/forest area. My wife and I enjoyed our time there and wished we had more time to relax in the villa and enjoy the private pool more.

Stayed for 5 nights. Great location with amazing views.Very quiet location but still close to walk to ubud,15-20min walk on scenic trail. Pro: Beautiful grounds and pool area. Restaurant had decent menu. Tried dinner once and it was good. Prices more expensive than ubud but not outrageous and typical of hotels.Drink menu was decent.Staff was very friendly and helpful.They go out of the way to help you, answer questions and arrange trips for you.Although transport arranged by hotel is more expensive it was convenient.Our villa was clean and spacious. Great view of the valley and semi private location.Plunge pool was great and cleaned daily.Bed was large and comfy.Overall great hotel. You can tell it's new and they are still working out the kinks. Cons: Lots of stairs to access villas, pool and restaurant.Not many railings so would be difficult if travelling with small children.Main pool area could do with more frequent cleaning due to the amount of leafs from trees falling.Breakfast was included with our stay and was disappointing.Very small portions and cooking is inconsistent.Be prepared for some bugs in your room.The sliding doors don't seal completely.Bug spray and citronella coils are provided.We had a couple geckos also.Room could use more hooks for hanging Things and more storage options. Also the safe was not secured to anything just sitting on a shelf so could be picked up. Bathroom is open to the rest of the room so no privacy.

If you have been a couple of time in Bali, it is a good place to try, the design is a bit different. It is still under construction or have been recently handover (I was there beginning of April) You need a scooter even if there is some shuttle provided as it will give your ubud experience more freedom. It is not very child friendly as railing is not design in a way to protect small kids from falling. The staff is friendly for most of them.

What a find!
Great little resort located just outside of central Ubud. About a 10-15 min drive into town and the hotel arranges daily complimentary transfers there and back or you can take on the slightly hilly walk! Hotel also arranged for my transfer to the airport at the going rate. Room was beautiful and well-stocked with everything you could need. Personal infinite pool on the patio was fantastic- the room I had was a bit shaded until 2:30pm or so, so if you are wanting to 'catch some rays' in the morning hours, you can do so at the common pool which is also a great space (or request upon booking for one of the sunnier patios). Bean bag on the patio was so comfortable and a great place to read during the day. All the food I tried was good and reasonably priced. Great customer service- turn-down service, morning housekeeping and room service. Yoga is offered most mornings- very easy-going class by the pool-side is a great way to start your morning or they offer locally-led walks! Tried the spa services, a bit pricer compared to those offered in town but done in the convenience of the hotel is something to consider. I was travelling solo, and this seemed a bit more of a 'couples' place, but never felt uncomfortable- only made me want to come back in the near future with my husband so he can also enjoy all Amora has to offer too!

Positive energy at Ubud's newest accommodation
We originally had a four night stay scheduled for the Amora Villas in Ubud ... but extended it to a full week because we simply loved the hotel. Amora is at the end of the Sunset Trail - a picturesque 15 minute walk that takes in beautiful valley views favoured by locals and tourists alike. The trail passes an impressive temple before joining the main road into the Ubud township. The Valley View rooms offered the privacy we sought and we would definitely make Amora our first accommodation option when we return.

Villen mit privatem Pool und atemberaubender Aussicht! Personal super freundlich und für jede Anfrage zur Verfügung. Tolles Frühstück und Afternoon Tea sind inklusive, Das Restaurant ist auch sehr gut und bietet sowohl typisch balinesische Gerichte als auch westlichere Gerichte. Ein Shuttleservice zum Ubud-Center und zurück steht zur Verfügung. Weit ab vom Trubel ist es sicherlich eine gute Wahl für alle, die dem Verkehr im Zentrum von Ubud entfliehen möchten und dennoch ist man in einer halben Stunde in Ubud und hat auch alles, was man braucht, in Laufentfernung.

ウブドの王宮までは徒歩で30分ほど。静かな立地で緑豊か。独立したビラでプライバシーが確保されており快適です。朝食をビラまで持ってきてもらったりもできます。数泊するとゆっくりできてよいと思います。

만족합니다.
직원분들도 친절하고 숙소도 너무이뻐서 만족했습니다. 다만 시내와 거리가 있다는게 흠이지만 그만큼 조용하고 정글뷰도 좋았네요. 바로근처에 유명한 카르사스파도 있고 굿굿. 개인풀은 물이좀 차갑긴했지만 커서 맘에 들었어요.

雨の降る夜11時過ぎにチェックインしたのでよくわかりませんでしたが、山の中にあり、翌日目が覚めて景色を見て驚きました。一面の大きな窓からは広大な谷間の緑が目に飛び込んできます。

Tolle Lage mit Blick ins Tal von der Zimmerterrasse oder beim Frühstück...Nachts Glühwürmchen inklusive. Der Walkway vom Hotel nach Ubud ist super. 2 erholsame Nächte mit Dschungelfeeling.

GREAT holiday at AMORA !
GREAT HOLIDAY in AMORA Ubud villas !! I stayed 2 nights at Amora with my girlfriend and we both really satisfied with the villa. BEAUTIFUL view of the villa was fantastic and fantastic! Room was clean and comfy, every facilities were good to use. Breakfast at restaurant with amazing view was delicious and unforgettable! Swimming at public pool was GREAT and could feel surrounded by forest. Walked to Ubud center along the Campuhan Ridge Walk took about 30 minutes, and it was really unforgettable moment at Ubud.(if you just walk, it would take about 20 mins, but I and girlfriend could not just pass beautiful scenery and so it took more :) ) Definitely hope to visit again and stay more nights next time !

Un petit paradis !
Un hôtel plein de charme, une villa / piscine avec tout le confort et les attentions que nous attendions. Un cadre idilique pour un séjour en amoureux. Le petit déjeuner est délicieux et copieux. Le dîner raffiné, et avec du goût. Le personnel est très attentionné et à l'écoute. Un plus pour le spa, un décor de rêve au milieu de la jungle. Nous conseillons d'aller à Ubud via le sentier (au milieu de la jungle et des montages). Le trafic pour rejoindre le centre est compliqué. Cet hôtel est un vrai bijou, nous conseillons d'y séjourner !

Cosy hotel with a nice view and close to Ubud
This hotel surprised us with a nice room and a fantastic view on the mountain area of Ubud. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly. We enjoyed the complementary massage and the morning walk through the rice fields.

Excelente Hotel
Was our first time in Bali and this was a very good surprise. Beautiful view and pool Very friendly and helpful staff Clean and spacious room Transfer to the center of Ubud They also offered us a welcome massage and morning walk, which we loved. We would definitely recommend this hotel. Best wishes for all the staff.
