"Room was perfectly clean, kinda strong on cleaning smells though. A bit noisy near the freeway. Decent value for a short stay"

"The rooms can be noisy and the beds are uncomfortable (for us). This property is next to the freeway and it is not soundproofed adequately. If your room is on the freeway side it is very loud at night. We switched to a room on the other side that was much better from a freeway noise perspective but we could hear the person sleeping in the room next to us snore all night so the walls are not soundproofed enough either. Also, what was once free parking is now pay parking at $17/night! Many of the guests are street parking now leaving an empty parking lot. Do you have to milk the customer for everything. Also, we left the sign on to NOT clean the room but housekeeping did anyway and re-arranged everything and also took away the extra pillows I had requested. And, If you have a problem with soft beds, these beds are super soft and will not work for you and no Jacuzzi to nurse the sore back in the morning either. The hotel itself is fine and the breakfast was decent, but all these other things make it a DO NOT REPEAT for us."

"I don't write a lot of reviews, but the staff here was truly outstanding. Tia and Nicole (not sure of spelling for either) we very welcoming and helpful at check-in and breakfast, respectively. The breakfast was so much better than the typical offerings at similar properties. Their effort really made the stay enjoyable."

"Enjoyed our 1 night stay. Super cool to see and hear the seals. We stayed in a river view room. Staff was nice and helpful. Fun to sleep on a ferry! And we enjoyed walking to the shops in Old town. Great location!"

"Pool was dirty, I was there for a full week and no one cleaned the pool! The kids had to use the Jacuzzi. It’s a great spot to be in Downtown Sacramento and close to everything in downtown. Staff was rude! We ask to have our rooms close by then they said it was full and we see multiple rooms empty in our floor. We ask for butter for breakfast and they were rude and mentioned they don’t have any. Sink were filled w mold and our sheet had stains so we took them off and bought a reusable sheet to add on top on the bed and reusable blankets."
