I liked the pool. The extra large room I felt was a waste of money because it had a large room off the bedroom but was not air-conditioned and only one small sofa in the area with bar but it was just for 2 people. The small pool was nice iff the back but very difficult to enter with only one huge step. For those with mobility problems it was not easily used. The biggest problem and reason why we will leave us the time spent finding this place. There was NO Signs to aid you and my phone helped little... No one knew this place that we asked so took nearly 2 hours to drive when tired to find the hotel... No TV in the room or in any if the rooms...ugh. The front desk has many guests that live the place but we are not on this list. If you want seclusion then yy might like this hotel. Very quiet.

This place is perfect for an adult only hotel! It’s quiet, spacious and aesthetically pleasing. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway with one of your best friends or significant other this place is perfect. We stayed in the Grand Villa and it was breathtaking!

A hidden gem
We had a wonderful time in the Jungle Lodge, from the accommodation to the five stars service and restaurant (one of the best ceviche, pasta and chocolate mousse ever). It is a very peaceful place, we really felt connected to nature and even got to see toucans flying over the pool area. It is also near the cenotes and Mayan Adventure park. Thank you very much to all staff, Edson, Antonio, and Alex, and the chef Francisco 👏 We would definitely come back!

I stayed only two nights at Jungle Lodge and wish I had stayed longer. The lodge is a place to relax and unwind without the noise and chaos of family hotels and resorts. Everything is first class and high quality, yet affordable. The jungle setting is remarkable, and the casas are designed to enjoy the jungle ambiance. The birds are amazing: Collared Aracari (toucan), various orioles, woodpeckers, and wintering warblers, to name a few. The eco-friendly casas are very clean, quiet, and comfortable, equipped with large, screened sliding doors and even a screened open ceiling in the bathroom. The breezy openness with or without ceiling fans was so much more comfortable for me than being closed in running air conditioning. I slept wonderfully which, to me, is most important when finding lodging for travel. The shower was amazing, nice and warm with great pressure. The Wi-Fi was fast. The grounds were kept impeccably. The two swimming pools were sparkling clean and refreshing and I had my own plunge pool on my back patio to enjoy. The walkways to the casas were beautifully maintained and well-lit. I should have thought to communicate by WhatsApp. The lodge entrance is labeled “Jungle Lodge” but is hidden behind a security gate that says entrance prohibited in Spanish. Google Maps gets you right to the gate, but you have to pull up and ring the bell. No need to drive around looking for another way in like I did. Silly me. I will return to stay longer.

This is truly an introverts paradise. For anyone looking for a small, exquisite and intimate resort to unwind and relax, look no further! You will not be disappointed! This serene, secluded resort nestled in the jungle with your own private villas is beautifully decorated, spacious and comfortable. The staff is extraordinary and go out of their way to accommodate your needs to ensure your stay is a memorable experience. The restaurant on site is fantastic as well. The property manager is outstanding! For those who are looking for a lively property with lots of entertainment and music and partying, this is not for you and I suggest look elsewhere as this resort as this is not the type of vibe you will find here. We can’t wait to visit again! Thank you for your wonderful hospitality!

This is a very new property, clean, well landscaped and maintained and the units are not too close together providing privacy. There is still work to be done - for example the units are wired for TV but are not installed; the patio is raised off the ground but not fenced. Our unit had a mini-fridge and coffee maker but no microwave. Blackout curtains are installed in the living and bedroom, which keeps the room dark even after dawn. The bathroom is large but the addition of a few hooks to hang clothes such as wet bathing suits would be a good idea. The staff are attentive, and the bar / pool / dining area is kept very clean. The menu is comprehensive, and meals are good and well prepared. I can't say enough about the managers Edson and Antonio who are always there to provide any assistance or recommendations required. There is construction nearby related to the Quintana Roo train line that is currently being built. The last 600 meters to Jungle Lodge is a poorly maintained single lane dirt road with large potholes navigable by any vehicle but slow. Tulum is an easy 15 minute drive where you can find a large Walmart style store (Chedraui) as well as many good restaurants and attractions. Overall, we spent several pleasant days at Jungle Lodge Boutique and felt we got good value for money.

We had never stayed at a boutique style lodge. I was really impressed with every bit of the experience. Our suite was clean and awesome. Great little touches with cute towel foldings and a touch of flowers picked right on the property. The fruit trees attracted beautiful tropical birds. We even had a Toucan visit everyday. The free breakfast was great. Additional food was available for lunch and dinner and we were always pleased. Staff was great, friendly and made the best Margheritas. Highly recommend a visit and I do hope to return in the future. Anne & Rod

This hotel is very intimate. Not huge but not tight and small either. Super quiet and peaceful and the staff members are nothing short of amazing. It is a little difficult to find if you arrive in the night time and the roads that lead there are unfinished… but once you get there it’s amazing. Make sure you have bug spray because the mosquitoes in Tulum act like they haven’t eaten in years. I would say that the car services from the hotel are expensive however car services in Tulum period are expensive. My favorite thing about this hotel was the pool. It was just me and my fiancée and we had our own alcohol and we were provided an ice bucket to keep it cool. The food was also good! I have no complaints and we plan on returning when we decide to come back to Tulum

Beautiful property for lovers. Loved the pool and the staff were all very good. The food in the restaurant was very good too. My only complaints are: wifi is very bad, I couldn't get my work done; there is nothing you can walk to and if you don't have a car it's very expensive to get a cab ($75usd rt) to and from the hotel; no AC, it's very hot and humid and there are not windows to open so you can lock your screen door when sleeping and have airflow; bugs started biting me after a few days so I had to leave four days early; the restaurant isn't open for dinner every night so you have to leave for food. I traveled alone and would have enjoyed my time more if my wife had been with me or if the Internet was better but since the wifi was unstable and it was completely secluded it didn't work out as I planned. I should have researched it a bit more. It's beautiful and peaceful and great if you have a car and don't need wifi.

Property overall was beautiful and I enjoyed the amenities. Areas of improvement definitely are restaurant/bar focused. They closed the restaurant at 4 pm, which cuts out dinner. There was also very little selection for food and drinks. I would stay there again but probably pick up food and drinks along the way.

We had a wonderful stay and the welcome could not have been warmer or more authentic. The room was large and beautiful with part of the jungle growing in our bathroom which was incredible when it rained. The food was amazing and food and drinks were great value. You are in the jungle so be prepared for lots of wildlife - there will be some ants, spiders, birds and squirrels around the property. Even though the housekeeping was perfect you are always going to see a couple of ants because you are in the jungle - relax and make friends with them and you’ll be fine. However you do need a car. We didn’t have one and it was a problem. There was an error on the Expedia website and it said the property was 8min walk from the beach but it was a 15min drive or 45min walk along a busy dusty road. Taxis are double London prices so it cost £65 one way to Tulum. So hire a car and have an amazing time at this beautiful place. Also it can be hard to find an atm so get money out at the airport. But overall I would highly recommend this wonderful hotel and the incredible staff. Both have a lot of heart.

If you are looking for a place to relax and unwind, look no further, this place is amazing. It is located in a jungle and you have an amazing opportunity to experience it in a very cozy and safe way. We stayed in a house # 1 and it was great, you even have your own small private pool in a back. We would use it at night and just listen to a jungle, which has the most amazing healing sounds. The food is great. Our breakfast was included and we really enjoyed each breakfast and a few dinners. People working there are amazing. They live and breath the sucess of the place through making your stay an unforgettable experience. And there is so much to explore within just 20 minute drive in any direction. It was a blast. Highly recommend.

Amazing place. We ended up staying one more night because it was so relaxing and fantastic. The staff go above and beyond to make your experience a wonderful one and the facilities are always clean. The food at the restaurant was incredible and the included breakfast was healthy and delicious. Etson, Antonio, and Alex made everything go smoothly and their customer service was unmatched. Hotel California in the Mayan Jungle
Impossibly romantic and absolutely wild. A shower that feels like you’re standing in the jungle. Beautiful brutalist architecture that doesn’t try to compete with the beauty of jungle. The jungle makes it beautiful. Sophisticated in it’s simplicity. Exactly what you need. Calms the mind and heals soul. Tranquilo and beautiful. The staff are delightful. Etso helped me arranged last minute transport from CUN. And even texted me to ensure I got in contact with the driver when my flight arrived.

Ok guys, first this place was amazing! The beauty and serenity are absolutely top tier. Price: Fantastic, I would've paid double. Location: looks sketchy getting to it (dirt roads/small village like town) but once on the property it's amazing, the gps link on Expedia does take you right to the front door. No signs but the turn off does have a sign that says "Estrella" on a tree. That is the correct turn. It's like 12 min from Akumal which has some of the best food that I had in Mexico. Amazing scuba in Akumal. Service: They are amazing, so nice and knowledgeable. Literally everyone there greeted us with a smile on their face. I highly recommend that anyone traveling to that area stay at the Jungle Lodge. I honestly cannot wait to go back! Note: You are in the jungle, birds are chirping, animals are moving, bugs are crawling. No issues in the room as long as you keep your doors closed. (Common sense) It is not a cushy hotel in a downtown city area. The absolutely breath-taking view of the sunrise in the jungle through the glass wall cannot be replaced by all the lush trappings in the world in my opinion. I did find the bed more comfortable than the one at the all-inclusive I stayed at the week before. Thank you so much to everyone at the Jungle Lodge!

Me and my boyfriend stayed at the jungle lodge for 2 nights and wished we stayed longer. Not only was the place so stunning it left you speechless but the staff was outstanding. They where so helpful kind and attentive to all of our needs. I would recommend this place over and over again for any nature lovers ,looking for a quiet relaxing vacation!

We loved this place. Every member of the staff was amazing. They helped us resolve a minor problem early in the stay and continued the excellent hospitality throughout our time at the hotel. The location is off the main roadways and tucked fairly far down a dirt road. You definitely will need a rental car at this location. This hotel really is in the jungle. If you don’t like little critters such as ants, spiders, lizards, birds etc. this may not be the place for you. If however you are open to a bit of nature this is an amazing stay.

The hotel is self was really pretty. It’s secluded from the noises. The food was good. Pools are great. The a/c was a plus. If I had to say something bad was it’s because you are in the middle of nowhere you must consider that there will be lots of lil animals.( such as tarantulas, big spiders)Other then that loved the hotel.

Beautiful Villa/Hotel. Friendly staff, beautiful rooms and views. Stayed in the Grand Villa with two king beds, 2 showers and kitchen and our out terrace with pool. Beautiful room. Occasionally you will see a gecko run away but they were little. Outside all nature, exotic birds, butterflies, lizards that are far at a distance, and sound of peace. Note it’s best to drive here. It’s hard to find the first time because there’s no signs. But when you get off Chemuyil exit keep driving until you see the Estrella sign. Go inside and just follow the path. The first left you see make that left turn and keep going down till you see the first brown gate and voilà!!! You made it! So if you wanna have night activities and etc it’s better and cheaper to rent a vehicle and you can ask Mr Max Dubois to arrange any excursions you would like to do. 👍👍👍

This place was magical. You definitely go here to connect with your significant other. I think his name was Giraldo, what a rock star!! Absolutely superb hospitality. There was a girl bartender too, she was great too. (Forgot her name) Amazing adult only boutique hotel. The decor was on point! Everything closes at 9 at this hotel but the perk is the pools are open all night. Bring your own drinks and enjoy fun after hours with friends/significant other. I will definitely see them again in the near future... love, sirena solis (macias)

GPS did not take us to the property, pdf they sent us to make it easier was useless it was a blank file. Neighbors told us how to get there. Missed the entrance because it said- private property no trespassing. Ended up at a dead end and the security told us where it was. Finally got to the gate and had to honk for someone to open the gate. No one was at the front desk. Stood there for about 15 minutes, I had to go find someone then we got our keys. When we got to our room we noticed there was no water, that lasted for about an hour. The room had no A/C and no hot water. Place was really beautiful tho

The Lodge is beautiful and serene. It was so peaceful there and you literally felt you were in a jungle paradise. The staff and service was amazing. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
