Find a Great Motel Tooms Lake

"We stayed 3 nights in Seaview Cottage. I'm going to be a little more picky with this review because this is a luxury property, not a budget property. I had high expectations of this property, and the views did not disappoint, but overall, this was not our most comfortable and easy stay. Pros: Quiet and private, excellent staff, stunningly beautiful grounds and views, appliances in cottage were all in working order, good WiFi. Cons: isolated (car is a must have), limited options for food on site, the gravel driveway is long, with potholes and washboarding, low water pressure and super sensitive hot and cold knobs made it hard to get the right temperature in the shower, no A/C in cottage, no fans either, pillows did not agree with my neck, and...BUGS! Had to clean up at least 20 millipedes and beetles, and some spiders, on a daily basis. Having to dodge millipedes to prevent stepping on them does not feel luxurious. "

"Probably our best accommodations during our 9 days traveling around Tasmania. Cabin 4 has a large combined kitchen/dining area with a mid-sized frig. It opens to a huge bedroom with a reasonable sized bathroom on the end of the unit. The dining and bedroom areas have floor to ceiling windows overlooking the bay and sunrises. We enjoyed a nice dinner at the on-site restaurant and got caught up on our laundry at their clean, reasonably priced on-site laundry facilities. And that doesn't even touch on all the recreational opportunities that are available on-site. Just a great place to stay."

"Parking was easy No airconditioner hot stuffy room and when doors opened bugs came in"

"Easy check in and spacious and comfortable location. Only issue was there were a lot of mosquitoes and a fly inside, but thankfully there was bug spray provided so we were able to get rid of most of them."

"This was an amazing property! Everything was perfect from the room overlooking the beach and mountains to the amenities in the room like a telescope, binoculars, to a beautiful tea service. Dinner at the restaurant was also delicious as was breakfast and service was top notch!"
