We are giving this small-town motor inn a five star out of five simply because it has an inner soul that made us feel at home despite its ageing condition. We felt positive vibes because of the relaxed and laidback atmosphere, the delicious hot meal of lamb shanks and chicken curry and the friendly and warm staff especially Stephanie who is very attending and caring. The room attendants and our waitress who served us a sumptuous dinner are equally lovable people with a good sense of community spirit. In my personal opinion, this bistro-style accommodation is the authentic gateway to Maria Island!

The room was nice and staff were helpful. Unfortunately only one of the two small fan heaters were working and that didn't warm the room and being winter not very pleasant. We were also awakened around 5 am by free roaming rooster and his hareem. Cleaning the mould above the shower should also be done.
