"The website was misleading. There was no bar out by the pool. The bar by the oceanfront was supposed to serve food according to the website, but it didn’t. It was only open from 5 to 8. The room had a really bad smell coming out of the air conditioner which maintenance tried to fixed by cleaning the filter, but they just sprayed stuff in it to make it smell fruity for about a day then it went away and went back to the smell. I was there for six nights, smelling it the drain in the bathroom in the shower. Also had a terrible smell coming from it so I will not be going back to the banana day. also, I forgot that they charge you $19 a day for parking which I thought was ridiculous because they weren’t even over booked so there was plenty of parking. It seemed to me like it’s just another way to get more money."

"The hot tub was not on the property but was accessible through the property next-door, which was a little bit of a walk. Would have given it five stars if it wasn’t for the terrible individual at check-in. I don’t remember his name, but he stayed in the room in the back, not in the front where he belonged. He checked me into a room with no view actually a view with the wood fence could not see anything it felt like a prison cell. Call down to change room and was given a room on the third floor with a much better view of the pool problem solved, but it was and seemed like he didn’t care at all about my concerns or needs. I then ask for two robes to be sent to my room and you sent me two rolls of toilet paper instead so obviously there’s something seriously wrong with somebody who doesn’t care to listen to what you’re saying or your needs. Other than that overall I would go back knowing that I would have to deal with this moron again."

"This property is top notch! We are in love and wish we'd found it earlier. Everyone was so nice and helpful. From registration to pool/food attendants, maintenance, . .... Everyone was so nice. The facilities are beautiful and everything you need is there! Highly recommend this resort and if we come to the Keys again, we will absolutely be staying here!!!!!"

"I cannot recommend this property enough . The house was pristine, check in is simple, the location is awesome right in the middle of everything but on a very quiet street. The swim spa felt awesome after a long day of sightseeing. The lot across the road was great to hang out at. We used the kayaks almost every day to fish which was a blast lots of small barracuda,tarpon,snapper even a few shark snapped us off. On the very last evening a mom and baby manatee hung out for a bit in the canal.Kathy is very quick to respond. 10/10"

"Aqua Verde was absolutely perfect. The home was beautiful and so well equipped. We also found it to be in a perfect location with easy access to everything. We had plenty of parking which many houses seem to lack. I must also state the host was beyond helpful and quick to respond to all communication throughout the process. I honestly can’t say enough wonderful things about our experience. We can’t wait to visit Marathon again and would absolutely love to be able to book this home again. If you’re looking for a boat captain I’d like to also mention Austin with Captain Jays charters."
