"Very nice alternative to staying in a hotel. Comfortable and plenty of space for a couple or small family. Having the small ‘patio’ area right on the water was amazing. It’s the perfect place to have a cup of coffee in the morning or a drink in the evening. We saw a manatee swimming right behind the houseboat. The living room was cozy and the kitchen was great for preparing quick breakfast or afternoon snacks. Having two separate A/C units made it easy to keep a perfect temperature. The location was also good. It’s nice and quiet, but still close enough to the center of Marathon to make it convenient."

"We so enjoyed the outdoor space! The kids enjoyed the heated pool and we adults loved the hot tub. The pool/Tiki hut area was so charming at night too with the ambient lighting and pool lights. And true to the listing's name, we actually saw 4 manatees swimming down the canal that the home backs up to. The home has charming beach decor and was very comfortable, and you could not beat the location- close to everything we wanted to do including Sombrero Beach, the Turtle Hospital, the Dolphin Research Center, indoor surfing and fun shopping. Two major grocery stores only 5 minutes away. It was convenient but also a quiet, restful location. We would book it again!"
