"Great little hotel in Merida. Well located, a little walk from the plaza Grande.
Leo the owner, is welcoming and very accomodating. He generously gives you tips on activities and restaurants.
The place itself is nice, well decorated. My room was of regular size, with a nice shower. It was very clean and quiet, as it was quite far from the street. AC was working very well, WIFI was good too. You can start your day with a nice coffee made by the owner, and a croissant or some sort of...

I stayed at the Mérida Mansion Hotel from August 14 to 17, and my experience was nothing short of amazing. The hotel itself is beautiful and elegant, but what truly made my stay unforgettable was the incredible service from the staff.
Every single worker I encountered was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. From the moment I arrived until the day I left, they made me feel welcome and cared for in every detail. Their dedication and hospitality turned my trip into something very special.
I can honestly say that the team at Mérida Mansion Hotel made me feel at home while still delivering the level of service you’d expect from a luxury property. I’m so grateful for their efforts and will definitely return "
"The location of the Hotel is great, it is on the center of the Mérida Downtown. Very close to the Airport Bus and close to Cathedral, restaurants and stores.
It is great Hotel different to the big chain Hotels"
"I really loved staying at Gran Hotel de Merida. It was such a unique experience staying in such a beautiful historic hotel in the best location in the city. I stayed for four nights and the staff was amazing and I really appreciated all the attention to details you can see around the hotel. For example the light from the inside courtyard makes a beautiful pattern on your wall at night when it goes through the door. Anyways I would highly recommend the Gran hotel de Merida and I will absolutely be staying there again in the future. "
This historic square is tucked into the atmospheric streets of old Merida. Its shady benches and picturesque setting make it an ideal place to take a little break.
